We were a group of four, coming out to do some late November camping in the cold. We were greeted by Werner, who then showed up around the place and let us know about all the amenities. The campground itself is gorgeous, even in late November when all the trees are dying. Its proximity to the ocean makes for a peaceful place, where the silence and beautiful views help bring one into the natural space. Werner was incredibly generous, as when iur tent broke within ten minutes of it being set up, he helped us into some of the cabins and was there for anything else we needed. I would highly, highly recommend this campground, as we had absolutely everything we needed and more! Plus, the dogs are incredibly sweet and a good chat with Werner will make your day.

Beautiful campground right on the ocean. They have camping huts, campsites and small unserviced RV sites. Very clean. Excellent owners and staff who are friendly, helpful and have a can do attitude. We will go again and do some kayaking. Yes, they have a kayaking business as well.

This campground is right on the water. Tent sites are on wooden platforms, rather close together. RV sites are situated in cozy groups of two. There are no electricity sites. It's a small place and friendly enough. There is a very short trail out to the point, with a bench to view the water.

We visited Norse Cove for two nights while travelling to Cape Breton. We wish we'd been able to stay longer. It is a site for tents, micro cabins and a small number of smaller RVs. It is absolutely idyllic, set right on the shoreline. Owners Kim and Werner are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities are good, including the opportunity to hire canoes. I had my first ever go at paddle boarding. There is the added bonus of the cafe on the main road, about 5 mins walk aeay

I took my two teens camping... not an easy sell for them to go to a rustic, walk-in tent site. But then they realized there was WiFi! A win for all of us! Out of all of the camping places on our three week road trip, Norse Cove was their favorite. Everything was very well-kept, clean, and satisfyingly back-to-the-basics, with the amenities that matter thrown in! I will definitely visit again, and I’ve been busy telling all my friends with plans to travel to Canada why they need to go to Norse Cove in Nova Scotia!

We stayed here as its relatively close to the airport so only wanted a short trip to familiarise ourselves with our RV so booked around convenience but What a place!
We were camped right on the ocean edge. First morning a bald eagle five meters from our site (We saw four others by the time we left!) we went kayaking in beautiful isolation and we took a boat trip out to an uninhabited island and were collected a few hours later. We loved it so much we extended our stay.
The site was lovely and as we approach the end of two weeks in our rv it is the site the children talk about the most and is their favourite.
No site like this can function unless the owners in this case Kim and Werner are fully engaged and they really are. Nothing was to much. Thanks again for a really great stay!

Whether you tent camp or want to stay in a little cabin, you won't be gagged by diesel fumes or generator noise....no RVs at this lovely campground. Very nice outdoor kitchen with a gas grille, area for washing dishes with hot water, and clean showers. What more could you want.... Kindling and campfire wood provided free. Even wifi.
Free coffee and a little cafe for meals across the street.
