Our stay was short but just fine! Our room was pretty, nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. If we were to have stayed longer, there was enough kitchen to do simple meals. The location was quiet and just up from the water. The location was convenient to all that St Anthony had to provide and Lans Aux Meadows.

The cottage/home is immaculate and well equipped with all facilities including kitchen and laundry. It’s a quiet and peaceful location. Yvonne is super friendly and super responsive. She can arrange the boat tour for iceberg watching and knows the area intimately including restaurants and for sight seeing. Overall, it’s excellent value for money and a great place to stay in. Recommend without hesitation

My wife and I booked a 2 night stay back in February for May 30th and 31st. After booking we received an email confirmation. When we arrived we learned that Yvonne had no booking for us and the room was rented to others. So left us scrambling to find other accommodations. The location is not in St Anthony’s but across the cove in St Anthony’s Bight about 8km out of the away. It had no view to speak of. We weren’t able to stay so can’t comment on the interior or comfort. Yvonne was very apologetic - which was nice but not overly helpful. If planning on staying I would recommend you confirm your reservation more than once.

I searched online for a nice place to stay and these cottages, exceeded my expectations. The cottages were clean and well maintained. A bonus is that there is a washer and dryer in each cottage and no charge to use. Yvonne is very friendly and personable.

Stayed two nights. Lots to see and do in the area. Enjoyed Keith's boat tour and got to see humpback whales. Highlights include: Grenfell museum, Fisherman point hiking trails; iceberg siting at Goose Cove, visit to L'Anse meadows and Norstead and a great meal at Daily Catch at Saint Lunaire-Griquet.

Yvonne’s Cottages was a perfect location to explore the Northern tip of Newfoundland. Close to the Viking attractions and great trails We also enjoyed the ocean views and watching the whales in the bay. The cottages are cozy and have everything you need to be comfortable. We cooked a couple of meals of fresh cod that Yvonne brought over. Yvonne is lovely and we enjoyed hearing local stories. Be sure to go out on a boat tour with her husband, Keith from Iceberg Alley Boat Tours.

The cottages are not right in St. Anthony so if you have evening plans you might not want to drive the road after dark. Cottage was very comfortable, much like a small apartment with a kitchen-living area and a bedroom. Washroom was very well laid out. The scenery was certainly what you would expect hanging off the edge of the province. Reasonably priced and very pleasant people.

Big thank you to Yvonne. The cottage had everything we needed plus we could see an iceberg out of our window. Upon seeing we had a BBQ we headed into town to pick up a couple of steaks. The bed was super comfy and a quiet setting made for 2 great nights sleeps. Super clean with so many nice little touches. During our conversation with Yvonne the subject of seals came up. She gave us one of her last bottled seal meat...a real treat and one of those little extras. Thanx again Yvonne

We luckily stumbled upon Yvonne’s Cottages while looking for a place to stay after cancelling a less than desirable place. Yvonne was super friendly and when I smell cleaning products upon inspection, I’m already sold!! 2 - 2 bedroom fully furnished clean cottages and 1 - 1 room brand new room. We watched icebergs and whales from our cottage. Yvonne was perfect, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. This place is just a few minutes outside St. Anthony, in a small community with beautiful views. Have already referred her to family and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Yvonne!!
