I spent nine days on the expedition before altitude issues forced me to make an early departure. Overall the trip was great and I have no regrets. The guides were exceptional. They used their skill and mountaineering knowledge to keep the team safe as we ascended from the glacier airstrip up the King Trench. I also appreciated the pilots from Icefield Discovery in Silver City, Yukon getting the team on and off the mountain without incident. Any trip to the St. Elias Range is about managing expectations. If you're laser-focused on bagging a summit, you may walk away unhappy from a Mount Logan climb. But if you want to experience soul-enriching solitude, glacier travel on the world's largest non-polar icecap, the camaraderie of a climbing team in the wilderness, and adventure outside the range of cell towers and Instagram, this trip is for you. I would repeat this trip without question.…
Stayed for 3 nights recently and had the opportunity to check out the variety of accommodation offered. The prospector cabin is very rustic, a bit drafty in winter. The wall tent is super - think wall tent crossed with 5 star hotel. Fun , accommodation but not for those with any mobility issues - there is a steep stair/ladder to get up to the loft where the bed is located. The pod is cozy, very modern. Rooms in the main lodge building well appointed and very comfortable. Food (breakfast and dinner) is excellent and nobody is going to go away hungry! Roxanne is a superb host and makes sure your stay is enjoyable. Lots of stuff to do in the area, or you can hang out in the sauna.
Everything was excellent. The lodge was plan B after out of Territory plans were no longer possible and we think Plan B turned out to be better than Plan A. The lodge was very comfortable, the hosts were welcoming and generous, the food was amazing and of course the location is excellent. A huge thank you to Roxanne and David for making our stay a memorable one.
A friend booked us in to Mount Logan EcoLodge and I couldn't have been happier with the experience! In only four days, the staff became my friends, the dogs felt like my own, our room was cozy and the food was fantastic! I would have stayed for a month if life allowed :) While the Lodge was definitely value for money, it was the overall experience that stayed with us - the staff all had suggestions for hiking & snowshoeing and other activities based on their own experience. They also arranged night photography workshop with Mark Kelly that was the highlight of our stay. We learned a ton from him, the staff and the other guests.
To celebrate a milestone anniversary, we spent two nights in the spotless and cozy Prospector’s Tent! This cabin with its historical ambiance, was fully equipped - even including cozy robes!! The meals in the lodge were a highlight of the trip - each dinner was a three course gourmet treat! Kudos to Chef John. Thank you, David, for your amazing hospitality! We will be back!!
Pleasant and informative staff members. Rural location; 10 km north of Haines Junction, YT; rustic log building. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. The meals were great! Wonderful experience!
My husband and I stayed in the lodge for four days during our Yukon trip. We have nothing but superlatives for the facility, the location, the owners. The lodge is so very beautifully appointed and the suite on the upper floor is gorgeous, so comfy and very spacious. Dinner is available to guests which we highly recommend because the food was superb, and restaurant options in the town of Haines Junction are very limited. Breakfasts are likewise gourmet fare and delicious. The property also boasts a hot tub and sauna, both of which were very welcome after a long day of hiking. The owners are absolutely charming and welcoming, and the entire atmosphere of the lodge and their guests is very congenial and family-like. This is a terrific location for exploring the area—stunning hikes, scenery, and the not to be missed flight over Kluane Glacier Park.…
Wow. This place does not disappoint. We arrived there and the lovely Roxanne welcomed us in. The place is beautiful and has a magnificent view of the mountains. Their two dogs will melt your heart, as will Roxanne. The meals were nothing less than outstanding. Each and every meal was over the top and the place was spotless. We met other wonderful travellers there and had fun exchanging stories. Our room was gorgeous with a beautiful bed and lovely bathroom. Loved the whole ambiance of the place. I definitely think Roxanne is the reason for our outstanding stay with her gentle disposition but very strong being. I felt I made a friend there. This place is an absolute must you will not be disappointed. They arrange things to do if necessary and each and every staff member was just wonderful. Thank you again and again for a wonderful stay Roxanne. Stay as lovely and strong as I know you are.…
A perfect way to explore the beauty of Yukon. With a range of accommodation options, we chose the yurt which was absolutely magical. The main lodge was super cozy, a perfect setting to enjoy the delicious meals. There is also a sauna and two hot tubs to enjoy. We added a guided e-bike tour which was incredible.
After two cancelled trips for Vancouver and Whistler it was decided that getting away would not happen any time soon. So, next best thing - weekend away closer to home. Roxanne at the Mount Logan Lodge is a wonderful hostess and an amazing cook. Dinner Fri & Sat nights and breakfast Sat and Sun am. Amazing food. The lodge is a lovely place and if you hike across the road and up to the top of the hill the views are amazing - You can even take Daisy and Freyia with you for bear protection - incredibly well behaved dogs who will listen to you. We had rooms in the attached building but there is also a Yurt and a bus you could rent. There is a room about the kitchen of the lodge. Coming soon is a wall tent as well. We didn't end up using either the hot tub or sauna - the weekend was a little wet and chilly. They do not serve alcohol at the Lodge but they do not mind if you bring your own to consume.…
