We stayed in the charming gold rush cabin, yes there is a very clean outhouse as there is not plumbing, but you have the chance to see the northern lights when you walk out at night. The lodge rooms were lovely as well and we were well spaced out due to Covid. Roxanne was a charming host and her all her meals were delicious and reflected the north. Dave, her husband took us on a fun raft adventure and Derek the resident hiking guide kept our feet moving on full day hikes with a packed lunch. We felt very safe with Derek hiking in remote areas full of grizzley activity. The lodge is very clean, comfortable and the property is close to Haines Junction and borders Kluane Park. Roxanne organized a fantastic plane trip to see the interior of the park which is 80% glacier covered. We hope to be back one day.

Wonderful Yukon experience! Amazing lodge just outside Haines Junction. Cozy accommodations with a great old 100+ year old cabin, yurt and even a bus as options to stay in. Wonderful Wonder Yukon experience! Great friendly lodge jut outside Haines Junction. Cozy lodge and accommodations with a great old 100+ year old cabin, yurt and evening a bus as options to stay in. They offer May guided experiences. We did a hike exploring the amazing valley and scenery of the valley, fishing in Pine lake where we caught several fish and had a fish fry lunch on the beach and rafting down the Dezadeash river with a hot dog and marshmallow roast along the river. Roxane and Dave are wonderful hosts. Roxanes amazing cooking made each day very special and memorable. Many guided experiences are offered. I am so glad we decided to stay here and is made our trip to Yukon so special. The owners' philosophy is to provide guests with a place where they feel at home and can completely unwind ... and you start to relax as soon as you check in to this cosy lodge. Despite the friendly feel, it is also run to the highest standards of guest hospitality. Our room was really cosy and warm - despite the Yukon winter. We loved the hot tub and sauna. We got great trips for hikes - the lodge is at the start of the Alsec Valley walk, which is beautiful. We took the owners' dogs with us and they were great fun - we still miss them! We had dinner each night and are very glad we did as the food was fantastic - even though we felt we were at the end of the world in the middle of winter we had fresh, organic ingredients cooked by a very talented chef. Breakfast was also creative and very tasty and the food provided was a very high standard. I really wish we had had more time in this wonderful lodge and dream about going back! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Note: as the current owners have only been in situ for a couple of years, negative reviews from 2016 should be disregarded.

We rented the rustic cabin, one bedroom and the yurt last week-end. Roxanne and David were awesome!!! Yummy meals were cooked. We felt at home. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was -32 outside and one of the car did not start and David helped us to fix the situation.
