Holiday with biker friends. Let's start with the structure. In a great central location, various rooms also communicating on request (do not have a bidet). Request possibly rooms not on the central square because already at 6.00 am there are village cleaning that create discomfort to those who want to sleep a couple of hours more. Great room cleaning. Presence minibar, safe and TV. There is no air conditioning. On request Covered Garage Reservation (perhaps high daily price of 11 euros), video surveillance. The girls at reception are very prepared, cute and helpful. Breakfast: unfortunately does not allow me to give the 5 stars. No pasta (croissants, donuts). Slices of cake (like Grandma's) very good, cold cuts and vegetables and juices. Bacon eggs. Unfortunately being an international property I expect a full breakfast. Definitely Recommendation.

Hotel in a central position with ample parking in front (paid during the week and free on weekends). Very convenient for walking around the centre.. the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Varied and abundant breakfast with both sweet and savory options. Impeccable cleanliness.

The Hotel is located in the Center of Lienz and in front of a Parking area.
You have the possibility to park under the hotel at 9€ per night.
Dinner and Breakfast are standard. You do not have many choices and the quality is medium.
There is lot of space for children and a game room dedicated. Little noise during the night.
Considering that it is a cheap hotel, I think that it was a good place for go skiing.

We stayed for 1 night at Hotel Sonne during our bike tour.
The rooms, corridors and the dining room are in great need of renovation. We cannot recommend anyone to stay there overnight.
A little bright spot the nice staff and the quite good breakfast, but this does not excuse the condition of the hotel.
Unfortunately never again

Hotel is placed in center of small town, have sauna, children play room, underground garage (limit 2m), and free ski bus to ski zone (Zettersfeld & Hochstein). Food is very good and rooms are comfort for 3 stars hotel. Free wifi is avaliable in every room.

First of all the ladies at the reception were really friendly and helpful. Also the fact that you had to pay for the parking was then easier to bear. Unfortunately I was not aware of this, but as I just stayed for one night it was not too bad.
The hotel is located perfectly in the center - close to restaurants and shops.
The room was o.k. for one night - I wouldn't have liked to stay a lot longer as it was with carpet and rather dark.
The breakfast was a buffett and not really inviting. Not a big variety of bread or vegetables or anything. Would have been better to go to a bakery nearby instead.
Also you have a lovely view from the rooftop, where also the smoking area is - think you could arrange some nice parties there too.
In addition I was informed of a sauna which is regularly heated (on the 2nd floor if I remember well). Liked, that I was invited to go there just when I arrived. Felt like an indecent proposal ;-)
Basically I would recommend this hotel for duty travellers or short stays.

Driving by... I looked up a cheap hotel with 24hr reception because I was stopping at 01.30 at night and in the area there are lots of family run b&bs or guest houses and surely didn’t want to stop in a 5 star grand hotel. I got there and there was a sign on the door saying the reception was closed and there was a number to ring. A really nice lady told me a code to unlock a little safe with the key so I could access my room and I sorted out things in the morning. Staff even the next day was really nice and the place is quiet. Only thing is the style is a bit outdated but would definitely stop by again. They have underground parking that might be good for the winter but I just left the car in the square and put a few coins to cover a few hours in the morning...

Good sized room but the hotel is dated and in need of a renovation. The breakfasts were ok, we ate dinner elsewhere. The hotel is centrally located and the staff were very helpful. We managed to park out the front which was convenient. The heater wasn't working but they attended to it promptly.

Stayed one night arriving after a jouney through snow and rain and a bit tired.Fortunatly the hotel provided everything we could ask for, starting with a very nice receptionist who arranged for the car to be garaged below the hotel with private lift straight up to the hotel. She also arranged a reservation for a table in the resturaunt because the hotel was quite full.
The room was large and very clean with no complaints even if the decor was a little dated.
Dinner was very good and the breakfast adequate. We would use the hotel again.
