This was a hotel that we used the night before flying out of DUS. Staff is super friendly and our room was very clean. It is about 20 minutes from the airport but far enough away that it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the breakfast guy was super sweet. Would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone staying in the area.

It’s clean, food is really good and the staff are great. We really like it’s location on the river and look forward to our yearly stay in March. We also really like the option to have a shuttle service to the fair. See you next March.

I have stayed at the Rheinhotel on 3 different occasions now, love the place. No it is not fancy and no it is not in town. It is very quiet, much different from other times I have stayed in downtown Dusseldorf.... There are a couple great restaurants in nearby Meerbusch, a killer Italian place! If you like a quiet room, a window or door you can open up onto a farmers field and wake up to the birds singing, this is the place for you. Breakfast is great! Sitting on the outdoor patio with a beer and a book at 1600hrs is tough to beat! If you time things right, you can catch the Ferry across the Rhine which deposits you in Kaiserwerth.....the gravel patio at Galerie Berghof, a 10 min walk from the ferry is incredible!....also from there, you can easily find a Taxi or hop on a tram to go into Dusseldorf.....when I have been here in May/June, the ferry runs till about 20:00hrs....if you miss the ferry, it is a 40-50 Euro Taxi ride to get to the hotel.....

Ok.. So we were on our bikes, looked a little well, in need of a drink on the terrace however sternly told all patio tables reserved. Nice location though.! These places should not judge a book by its cover comes to mind. No one came to the " reserved tables"

Dear Mark, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were not able to get a table on our terrace. Especially on weekends in the summer we have couples celebrating their weddings in our hotel or other celebrations. Therefore they book the whole terrace for their reception. That might be the reason all the tables were reserved. we still hope to welcome you another time. Theresa Neske - Shift Leader & Team
