#4 of 9 hotels in Meerbusch
Just a 15-minute drive from Duesseldorf centre, Hotel Gaestehaus Meererbusch offers a quiet haven away from the crowds and bustle of downtown Duesseldorf. The small and atmospheric villa of the late 20-ies with its soft vanilla-washed walls is easy to spot in the elegant and spacious neighbourhood. The welcome is warm and very genuine in our family-run hotel. Antique furnishings and cosy decoration that reminds of English and French country manors make you instantly feel at home.

I have stayed a number of times over the last year or so and have always had a great welcome and felt totally relaxed in this small hotel / guesthouse. They have THE highest levels of housekeeping and the rooms are very comfortable. I think the Wi Fi should be included in the room cost as others in the areas do but it wont stop me going again. The breakfast is extensive and enjoyable and you can get your eggs any way you like ! This isn't a hotel more a large B&B so there is no bar in the evening however the drinks in your room are reasonably priced and there is a good choice. If, like me, you get sick of the usual large "same old" hotels this is a really excellent alternative where you feel really at home. 10 our of 10.

I stayed here for three nights. The owners give a very personal service. Buffet breakfast runs till 10 am and 1100 on weekends. Rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom is large. Only issues are the lack of lifts, you'll need a ground floor room if you have mobility issues and the wifi internet isn't very fast and costs €5 /24 hours. A great little guesthouse if you need to be in that neighbourhood.

While visiting friends in the Dusseldorf area, my wife and I stayed three nights at this hotel in late June. The hotel is quiet and relaxing even though it is just steps away from a major street in Meererbusch. It is located on the edge of a section of the city that is filled with beautiful, fenced homes, and we enjoyed a long walk one day through the neighborhood. The breakfast (provided as part of the stay -- it is almost a bed and breakfast) was perhaps the highlight of our time at the hotel: the hosts provide an extensive menu including French toast and eggs and bacon as well as the traditional German cold meats and breads. Our room as clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
