Rooms small and old and maybe needing a good clean, especially the bathroom but good.Staff friendly and helpful.Breakfast adequate.Parking excellent at the hotel. A few very good and well priced restaurants very close. A short bus trip to Stresa for more shops and restaurants.

We visited this "hotel" for one night during our tour around Lago Maggiore without checking it nor the surrounding village in detail. With the price level of roughly 130 euros a night and "4 star rating" we simply thought it cannot be that bad. Well it was almost a nightmare. We kind of feel pity because this has been magnificent...

We stayed here as part of a groupon trip and it was actually much better than we thought. The staff were wonderful and called every bar/restaurant in the village to help us track somewhere to watch the rugby! The bar man Sylvio is great! It's mainly conference groups out of season but I imagine is fabulous in the summer.

We had booked a month in advance through Booking.com for a 4 day stay in a room directly looking over the lake. On arrival we were told that they did not have a room for us and we were redirected to their terrible sister hotel , the Villa Carlotta - with no apology. Villa Carlotta told us that this could...

Staff is very nice and friendly. Great location. Hotel is old and dumpy. Ask for a lake view room, it's beautiful! Good service. Had no hot water once. The 3 stars are because the staff is really nice, other wise would give 2. Good price. For good restaurants, go to Stersa or Arona, close enough and worth the trip. Do...

The hotel is in great location. 15 minutes from Arona. 3 minutes from Stresa. Breakfast is poor. The rooms are old. But the team is nice and trying to help. We have stayed there off season, so it was relatively empty. There are free parking. Do not eat at the hotel restaurant. It is expensive and not as good as...

We did a last minute booking here as we needed a hotel room urgently. Checked in at 1am. It was 70s night with a lot of seniors dancing until 2am. The decor is on the older side, but it's not as bad as it looks. The rooms were functional with ac and clean. I slept like a log and woke...

We stayed two nights. Very convenient for access to the boat. Free parking was about six spaces! Air conditioning was a cooler in the room which made no real difference. Room was very dated. Beds not very comfortable. Shower was a trickle. Overall this hotel is very dated and although staff were friendly, this is not a four star hotel....

We have enjoyed every moment of our 5 night stay at Hotel Milano. The staff are very friendly, efficient, knowledgable and speak English, which is a big help coming from Australia. We loved the large Terrace which is situated on the water where we ate delicious meals typical of the local area. We also enjoyed sitting out on the Terrace...

Hotel Milano is situated right on the lake and has wonderful views (the road runs just behind the hotel). Staff at the hotel are very friendly. The rooms are fine (they may seem expensive for their size & condition but in comparison to prices in the area they are just fine). The breakfast was very average for the area (i.e....
