Hardangertun Camping is an ideal overnight location in route to the Hardangervidda / or from the plateau. It features grassy spots (sometimes delimited) next to the Hardangerfjord. Unfortunately the view is obstructed by the campsite’s alternative accommodation : chalets… Like most of Norway’s campsite, the place is family friendly. Kids will especially love the swimming pool ! The only thing...

Terribly thin coffee and the soft ice tasted a bit "off". But they had an indoor playground that was fantastic fun for the children. Did not try the dinner buffet, but it smelled good. Changing diaper facilities needed could have been nicer, I preferred the floor in favor for the "changing table".

Stayed here for 5 nights with our 14 month old son. Cabin was excellent size and had all facilities needed. Our cabin had a gorgeous view out over the fjord which was lovely to watch in the evening. The family who own the site are very nice and nothing seemed too much trouble. Had some over excited neighbours on arrival...

Late arrivle - food delivered in the cabin. After a long hike in the mountains, this was the perfect service we needed. All greetings to the staff that was very hospital and serviceminded. A million thanks. We recomend a stay here after two nights, in beautiful landscape.

Location right next to Mikkelparken is perfect. Strange that there is no safe way to cross the road. Huts are decent, but really showing their age in some regards, good that bathroom is renovated. Restaurant with buffet is safely mediocre. All around the service is average, some more smiles could not hurt. Nice pool! Also the campsite itself is very...

Staying in Kinsarvik is like stepping into a postcard. The front desk was very helpful and forthcoming, and had reserved a nice apartment with a terrace overlooking the fjord. The apartment was very cozy, with a fully furbished kitchen, nice bathroom and good beds. The tv was not in use at all! Who needs tv with views like this from...

LOCATION – Easy to find at the centre of the small village. Other campsites nearby, with a grocery store, petrol station and the ferry terminal is conveniently right on your doorstep. Beautiful views of the Hardanger Fjord right outside your window/patio. CABIN – Spotlessly clean cabin, parking right outside. Cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Full Cooker, Microwave, lots of utensils,...

We stopped here during a roadtrip through Norway. The place was pleasent enough, but when we went to the restaurant for some coffee and cake we were accosted by an older woman with short blond hair working in the kitchen. She was so rude and unfriendly we couldn't wait to leave. Then she chased us out because we hadnt thrown...
