We drove to here. There is no staff but only one paper stick out of office. You can know your room number and when staff will come. Had to drove a little further in to my house. You can tell it is a history house from its designing, I like it. Can use kitchen but you gotta prepare all sauce...

The room is small and the matresses were thin you could feel the slats. The bathroom was great with a spacious shower. The walls were a bit thin but everyone was courteous and respected the rules of being quiet after 10 and there was no WiFi. At night you could even hear the tumbling of the waterfall which I enjoyed....

Since everything else was booked, we were put in a small 'heritage' cottage opposite the reception. The cottage had three rooms. We were at first offered a room upstairs with a precarious staircase, tiny room, broken blinds, filthy pillows and the shared bathroom downstairs. So we changed to the downstairs room which was still dirty. The clincher was the bathroom...

We had booked a double bedroom. Turns out the room had two separate small beds, which is fine. The problem was that one of the beds were broken. A big hole right under the mattress. We reported the problem both by e-mail and went to the reception. They pretty much shrugged their shoulders and said that they will try to...

10-15 min walk from village centre. I had a medium sized bag pack so it was not difficult. The hostel which comprised of several white-washed houses were located in a valley-like area surrounded by lush hills & some waterfalls. No shoes are allowed in the buildings which was kind of odd. The beds were comfortable & everything was moderately clean....

It's quite a walk about 20 minutes from the central/terminal where the cafe, shops and supermarket are but if you want to go to the waterfall trail, it shorten the distance. The reception is a very simple room which is also the place where you collect your bed linens as you need to make your own bed. Towels are provided...

Booked a family room for 1 night and specified 2 separate beds, as I was travelling with an elderly family member. Upon arrival were offered a small dobble room with a double bed. The receptionist could not speak Norwegian, was rude and agressive when I tried to ask for what I actually payed for. We were finally placed in a...

There are much better places to stay than here, I wouldn't recommend at all , it's noisy and the room we had was a joke, 2 single beds squeezed into a tiny little room right next to the entrance. It's a 20min walk from the doc at flam and not enjoyable to drag your suitcases to here.

The place is about 10 minute drive from Flam centre if you don't get lost finding it. It is clean and simple lodge. The bed is small but the living room has good kitchen facility to do some cooking plus the front yard of each room has decent picnic table. Although it is described as hostel but the price is...
