This hotel was so lovely in so many ways. The welcome we got was lovely and the sympathetic renovation of the property was refreshing. It was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to a stay there in 2017.

Great family run hotel. Very relaxed. The hotel is incorporated into the city walls. Well worth a visit to see how some architects can have good ideas !!! Fast food can be eaten at Vivachi Shopping centre, a 5 min walk away.

I will have to be careful with this review of Hotel Santos, or readers will think I'm related to the owners, or a business partner... I'm not, in both counts, but what I have to say about it may give the wrong impression. The place is really a fantastic surprise in Guarda, a beautiful town in its own. The place... More

Stayed just the one night while touring. Excellent from the word go. Staff friendly, polite, and very helpful - particularly as my Portuguese is poor. Incredible building that includes part of the old town wall as its rear. Very sympathetically and stylishly incorporated. Room spacious clean and modern. The town is mainly modern run of the mill concrete but the... More

This was a pleasant surprise, an absolutely sweet hotel built into old city walls. Lovely rooms, very quiet and clean, and an absolutely AMAZING included breakfast- they just kept coming with more food and coffee! Family run by a lovely couple- HIGHLY recommend this if staying/passing through Guarda. Located right in the upper old town, not overrun with tourists. Free... More

we followed tripadvisor and found a very nice aesthetically renovated family hotel in close vicinity of the cathedral. Super friendly staff. Helped us with finding a free parking lot. Clean and old fashioned rooms equipped with all you need. Contrast to the rest of the Hotel. Great breakfast

The situation right in the center of Guarda made us choose this hotel for a three nights stay in this region. In the first night, we had the bad luck to get rooms on the back side, where we were troubled by the massive noise of some neighbors. Initially I wanted to give not more than one star for a... More

My review this time is less positive than the one I made some months ago. My family of four, couple and two small kids, was given room 001 on the ground floor, which is clearly insufficiently large for so many people. Result: we were stumbling all the time on baggage on the floor and jumping over our stuff to get... More

I stayed one night in this hotel. Nicely located the center you can walk to anywhere. What made a difference in my stay was the staff always very concerned about guests well being. That was notorious on the continental breakfast. Excelent price value, will be my first choice for a re-visit.
