Awesome view. Well kept grounds and cottages. Awesome owners. Cottages are very clean, very well equipped. You couldn't ask for more. The bed is comfortable, nice linens on bed. Access to beach, which we enjoyed walking in low tide. Great location. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything you need in a cottage. We will happily return and highly recommend.

Gréât little seaside cottages. Clean friendly feet from the beach. Nothing but fields and ocean within walking distance. Little playground for the little ones. The cottages are very reasonably priced. My wife's family has been coming for 40 years with no complaints.

We stayed in a one bedroom cottage overlooking the Northumberland Strait and the Confederation Bridge. The cottage had everything you needed to cook including a BBQ. Bed was comfortable. Open concept living room with leather couch and dining table with a view to the ocean. Steps took you to a beach shared by other guests. Property also had a playground, horseshoes and other games. This would be the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. Also had excellent wifi connection!! Highly recommend.

We spent four nights on PEI, staying in Cottage 7, overlooking the sea. It had an open plan sitting room with a dining table and a kitchen to one end. The Internet and satellite to we're very good. There was a full size oven and cooktop and large fridge. Our steaks were cooked on the barbecue. The bathroom had copious hot water. Being in central south PEI, it was a very convenient place to explore all of the island.

We spend the night with friends and family. The individual cottages were quaint and comfortable. The kitchenette had the basic essentials and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for some place fancy, this is not the place but if you enjoy rustic comfort and friendly service, this is it!

This was a amazing cottage to stay at, right next to the Confederation Bridge which is amazing to see at sunset.
The original cottage was still under snow so they called and said if we wanted they could move us to a different site that they owned, we moved and it was great and no snow.
It is further away from Green Gables sites but the drive is well worth it. The owners are fabulous and even had a map all highlighted with the best routes to take to all the places they knew we were going to. Simply amazing
Kids want to go back again and stay there.

Check in was a breeze and cabin was modern and well-equipped. New appliances, good sized TV, and great furniture made for a very comfortable two-night stay. Cabins come in various sizes - mine was a single-bedroom. Definitely worth a stay on PEI!

Nothing as advertised. No WIFI no internet. Doors do not lock, toilet leaks. Tiny old TV, not worth turning on.Hot water tank is so small, one very fast shower and it is empty. Beautiful location on the water, nothing else in the area. No kids park, very small deck. Oven would not work properly, burnt just about everything. Lady at the front desk (owner) was nothing short of rude! Never going back.

We stayed August 31 to Sept 5, 2016 and rented 2 cottages for us, our kids and grandkids. The trip from Fredericton was only 3 1/2 hours with a stop in Moncton to stock up on groceries at Costco and Superstore.
The cottages are easy to find and are in most navigation systems or follow the signs when you get close. Ten minutes from the Confederation Bridge and at the end of a kilometer-long red dirt road between the potato fields, the cottages overlook the shore of Northumberland Strait with the bridge visible about 5 kms to the southwest and the NB shoreline on the horizon to the west. The other landmark is a lighthouse about a kilometer to the northwest, which is worth a visit sometime during your stay. Take your camera.
We stayed in cottages 7 and 8. All the cottages sit in a line along the shore connected by a long lawn which gives way to a 20 foot cliff to the beach below. The cottages are spaced so you have a bit of privacy but there are no trees or barriers between the buildings so it's sort of a campground atmosphere. Each back yard faces the water and has a fire pit, picnic table and a deck complete with barbeque and deck chairs.
Access to the beach is by a set of well constructed stairs at one end of the property which have sturdy handrails on both sides. A short descent brings you to the rock and red sand beach below. The kids spent many hours down there playing in the water, picking shells and catching hermit crabs among the rocks. The strait was dotted with fishing boats most days with the occasional ship making the transit a few kilometers off-shore. Sunsets are beautiful and make for great pictures with the rocky point and lighthouse in the foreground.
The cottages are clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, fridge, stove, hot and cold water, satellite tv and wifi. There's baseboard heat if you need it and the owner is around most days mowing or taking away the garbage. The one and only complaint, and it's not really a complaint is the wifi at our cottages which were at the end of the row was slow. Tablets and phones seemed to have a good signal but not fast enough for Netflix or youtube. Check email or facebook no problem. I'm not sure if a signal booster would make any difference or if the problem is bandwidth but thought I'd mention it.
It's 15 minutes to Summerside, and half hour to forty minutes to just about anywhere else in the central part of the island - Charlottetown, Cavendish, etc. We took a drive to North Cape to see the wind farms which was one of the prettiest drives in the province. I'd highly recommend taking the east route to North Cape through Alberton and Tignish and return down the western shore to Summerside. You'll see a side of PEI the regular tourists don't know exists.
All in all it was a great trip and we've already booked for next year. Oh, and one more thing - there's a small general store on the corner in Bedeque on your way into Summerside. Try their ice cream. They claim it's "The world's greatest", and I'm thinking they're right!
Send any questions.

This place was great. You do have to check in a gas station maybe ten minutes before the cottage. There are six or so cottages in a row, seconds from the water. The view looks out right at the Confederation bridge in the distance. There are a few built in games, like horseshoes and ring toss. Each cottage had it's own fire pit and picnic table. Free Wifi also included.
The cottage we had was right on the end. It had two decks and a barbeque. On the inside the living room had satellite tv and a nice leather couch. Dining room and a fair size kitchen. Bedroom was on the small size but served it's purpose.
Would of stayed longer if we didn't have something else booked. This place is less than an hour from Charlottetown, Summerside and even the Anne of Green Gables famed Cavendish beach.
Last but not least the price was really good for what you got.
