My family and I stay in the beautiful North Port Inn in Alberton PEI. Beautiful accommodations, clean and a beautiful view of the harbour. The staff bent over backwards to make your stay the best. They were friendly and very personable. Due to covid we were provided with a continental breakfast and if you wanted more, 5 mins into town was a quaint cafe and bakery that served a big breakfast for 5.00. The restaurant which housed the wedding was beautiful and the food was amazing. If you are just going for a meal, I recommend you make reservations beforehand. Would have liked a fridge in the room but there was lots of ice in the machine so that definitely would not stop me from returning. A beautiful staycation in the Atlantic Provinces. Felt safe during covid and will definitely be back…
We stayed here one night but will definitely be back again. The room was on the second floor with a spectacular view of the bay. Room was pristine, sheets were clean, just a beautiful place. Only thing I would suggest is, if you happen to get the package deal with the restaurant coupon, make a reservation at the restaurant at the same time. I choose the package with the restaurant gift card and when we arrived after being on the road for 7 hrs we were told the restaurant had reservation only and was booked until closing. After a few minutes of discussion with the hostess she informed us we were able to use the gift card and order take out, so we did and took it back to the room. But it would have been nice to know this before hand Your breakfast consists of a muffin, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt and or granola bar…
We stayed one night at this inn. It was really nice. The views are all east facing so you get the sunrise view. I watched it at 6:58 AM and I have posted a picture. The inn is right next to a restaurant however it was not operating at this time of year. We had to travel about 20 minutes to another property. Overall we really liked this inn. Breakfast was nice. The room was really good with a king size bed. No carpet’s. The views are amazing.
This was our first stop on a cycling trip across PEI. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect staging ground for exploring the North Cape. Beautiful views in both rooms (one upstairs with a balcony, one downstairs with a view of the water). Very clean rooms. Freshly made breakfast. Restaurant right next door for seafood dinner. And amazing hospitality, including their staff doing us a kindness that helped us out with the logistics of our trip. We would return in a heartbeat with our families!
Our first two nights on PEI after driving from New Brunswick. We have been to PEI before but not to this part of the island. Our room on the second floor was delightful. We took advantage of the porch and two chairs to have a glass of wine before going next door to the Boathouse for dinner. We ended up eating there both nights because it was that good and most convenient. My husband had the Lobster Rueben and loved it. Their haddock and caesar salad were delicious too. Breakfast at the inn was good with several choices and great coffee. We would not hesitate to stay again if ever in the area.
We loved everything about the Northport Pier Inn. Upon arrival and seeing the view my husband exclaimed "you really know how to pick them!" The inn looks out upon an island with a lighthouse and the calm water was home to herons gracefully fishing along the edge of the beach. Serenity itself! The restaurant on the property was outstanding and very reasonably priced. We ate there both nights and had a table with a fantastic view of the water. The room was lovely and you are only steps away from the beach. The included breakfast was very generous and the manager ensured lactose-free milk was provided for me as requested. This is the only establishment on our travels that has ever bothered to do this. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We loved it so much we are planning on returning. We wouldn't travel to Prince Edward Island without a visit to the Northport Pier Inn!…
We stayed here for 3 nights, July 24 to the 26. We stayed in a king room on the second level. The rooms are very clean and the bedding is comfortable. All rooms face the bay with a view of the harbor and lighthouse. There is a nice complementary breakfast. The restaurant next to the inn has amazing food. What made the stay exceptional was Connie. She went above and beyond anything we have experienced in any place we have stayed at. Thank you Northport for a great first stay in PEI.
We always enjoy staying at Northport Inn... overlooking the Ocean. The boats are going fishing in the morning and the Sun rise are so Beautiful. They serve a lovely Continental Breakfast, Cereal-Boiled Eggs-Toast-Muffins- Fruit-Yogurt and lots of coffee. It's very clean, we got to know the Managers, Carter and Makalya, they are Fantastic. We love eating Seafood in their Boathouse Restaurant... The staff are very Courteous...
Stayed here for one night on a NB/PEI road trip with the family. Really enjoyed the view and the walk out to the pier. Boats can be seen moving in and out of harbour frequently. Unfortunately there was issues with their restaurant, causing it to be closed while we were there, it did look nice though. Interesting “Sea Rescue Station” as well, almost like a mini museum.
The Northport Pier Inn is close to the water so the views are spectacular, complete with a lighthouse! From our balcony we watched fishing boats return to the harbour and great blue herons fish in the shallow water close to shore. The staff were all terrific and the restaurant next store had the same wonderful views and really good food. We will definitely return.
