I will never camp here again. I have given this place a few tries and had bad experiences. Campers partying till 230 in the morning every night. Each night they did nothing. Went to the office and nobody was there. Finally called the office. After the 3rd call someone answered. Finally put a stop to it. The next day the...

I've visited here several times over the last few years and have to say this last time proved to be another great family getaway at Sand Hill Park! I'm really shocked by the bad reviews of the park staff, as this has NEVER been my experience. Particularly helpful was Sharon, poor lady...I believe I called her at least 3 times...

We booked two sites side by side several months in advance of our visit so we could be beside family. When we arrived they gave us sites separated by three other sites. When we told them we had booked them together, their answer was that someone had booked a seasonal site beside one of them so this is what we...

The Sandhills were really the only good part about this park. I've just read the other reviews and people mention the "older lady" and I must comment that she definetly has some issues. She was extremely rude when speaking with her. Not helpful at all and unless you were paying her money for something, she had no interest in you....

We recently visited with young kids for the day (did not camp). They loved the sand hill/beach. The water that day was rough but the kids had fun playing the big waves- we kept a watchful eye on them. The water itself looked murky, and the beach was a little dirty (saw some poop and quite a bit of gross...

Been coming here since a young child. Family park great for the day or to camp. Small enclosure with some animals up front and playground for kids. The hike to the beach and back can be challenging for some. In previous years they had a tractor that pulled a trailer up and down during the day. Every Saturday has a...

There were no camp sites at Long Point and the staff gave us the number for Sand Hill. On the phone I asked if they were near the beach and was told the park was "right on Lake Erie". We arrived and chose a site from the map, that appeared to be near what they referred to as East Beach....

What a wonderful place and very helpful staff. It's funny how people's perspective varies from the truth, we saw the review by ursula232015b and it sounded so familiar to us. Assuming this is the same group we observed on our visit, what the review neglects to mention is that the water was rough that day with a strong undertow, the...

For an impromptu camping trip on a long weekend (myself and 4 kids 13 and under) we got a marvelous site close to the amenities and beautiful beach. We could hear the waves crashing at night! Amazing! The staff was extremely accommodating and always offered help when I expressed a concern. That said, all concerns were handled immediately and resolved....

“water and electricity at own site is such a blessing when camping. we cooked the entire trip for 10 people, constant washing dishes and charging phones become so handy. choose a site that has partial shade and definitely bring a picnic table canopy to avoid flies and those black flies to ruin your camp experience,”
