From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and looked after by the warm and friendly team at the lodge. The room was very comfortable and clean with plenty of space and a lovely hot shower and although there was no a/c, the ceiling fan provided just enough breeze to keep us cool. We were extremely well fed by the...

2 and 1/2 boat ride through the jungle to the Lodge. Everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. We were greeted with lemonade and that after the afternoon tea we would be taking a smaller boat tour to explore the area. The lodge has a walking trail that goes out into the rainforest and shortly...

This place is a dream. It's in a great place for wildlife - which is unpredictable still - so I want to write more about the place itself. The food is great, nice options and always well cooked. You sit with strangers which forces you to have a good time with people sharing your experience. The rooms are brilliant. Very...

exceptional food, staff, ambiance, service, abundance of wildlife and super massages! A wonderful slice of luxury in the rainforest, we spotted the Borneo Big 5 whilst here! Staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Some of the best food we have ever had as well! Can't wait to go back. This is the lodge David Attenborough...

An excellent place to stay for viewing rainforest and river wildlife. Clean and well organised facilities, friendly and helpful staff and a variety of delicious food. The trips and guides we experienced were all excellent. We would definitely return to Sukau Rainforest Lodge.

Nestled amongst a rainforest and river, only accessible by boat. Huge community feel, welcoming, amazing staff. Highly informative and educational. Wildlife galore. If in Sandakan, don't miss an opportunity to stay here. Owned and run by Borneo Eco Tours - second to none!

We were fortunate to stay here last week for 2 nights/3days as part of a longer trip we'd planned in Sabah. What a great experience! What made Sukau a great place to stay was... - Fantastic river cruises to explore the rainforest & river system!! You get to go out early morning & late afternoon but can also opt to...

The Sukau Rainforest Lodge is truly a cut above. The staff were outstanding and so helpful in every way - and when it came to the naturists and guides they were incredible with their knowledge and their ability to spot wildlife was uncanny. I was left in awe constantly at the things that they could pick out in the jungle...

We were unsure what to expect from this trip other than the possibility of seeing orangutans in the wild. Wow, we were in for a rewarding experience. The boat journey along to the Lodge gives a taster of what to expect and upon arrival at the lodge you know you are in for something out of the ordinary. The Lodge...

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a really great stay. Our guide Lee was brilliant... he was enthusiastic and amiable and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. It was fascinating going up and down the river and it's tributaries looking for wildlife. We saw a lot of birds, including King fishers and Hornbills, as well as Orangutan, Proboscis monkeys and...
