We stayed here for one night after climbing mount Kinabalu. Admittedly the room was cheap, but we expected more. There was significant damp in the bedroom, lots of ants and other bugs in the bathroom, and the place generally felt in need of brightening up.

The place has an amazing view. And its close to the park/mountain. The breakfast is very bad and the rooms are nothing special (and a lot of noise from the Road)! One Night is fine, but dont expect a nice meal in the morning before climbing the mountain. Dinner is actually ok.

Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating to us. Food was pretty good and reasonably priced. Room was basic but comfortable. Small bathroom but hot water worked well for quick showers. A nice communal area with friendly cats and dog that are well looked after. All up I enjoyed our stay here and for the price and proximity to the...

-Wooden room but comfort. -Value for money. -Look aging but ok. -Basic breakfast meal but enough for us. -Nice scenery at dining area. -WIFI only available at office and dining. May sit at dining to use the service. -Really friendly owner and the rest of staff. -Just one bad thing, water heater sometimes not really heat up.

Stayed there while filming around Kundasang. The people were amazing and friendly. Always with a smile and giving us tips on what to do around Kundasang. Theres a cafe as well which serves warm food and drinks. Not fancy but its nice and tasty. Also lots of snacks and instant noodles! (Ideal for the cold weather) Wifi is only available...

We knew arriving here it was going to be very basic accommodation but ....there were no sheets in the bed !! That's ok we slept with our clothes on. The staff were nice and the food simple and adequate. The reason for my low rating is that I could not sleep a wink. The hotel is right on the main...

With regard to price and proximity to both the Park and return busses to Kota Kinabalu, D'Villa is the best value. Dormitories are dry and reasonably comfortable, however do get very cold at night. Extra blankets are available for a small fee, as are kettles of hot water. The shared bathroom is clean and spacious with one shower, and the...

Whilst it's not a exceptionally high standard (like a westin or hilton) there are plenty of people who travel by themselves of as couples that would happily stay here and have no issues with it. I stayed here the night before I climbed mount kinabalu and the night after I got down. The double room cost me and my girlfriend...

We didn't stay at the lodge, just went there for something to eat. The menu is very limited and we ordered a curry laksa. After a very long time we were finally served our food - a soup with lots of oil, noodles and a little bit of chicken. The worst thing I ate in Malaysia. Better avoid this restaurant!

We walk-in to this lodge during our visit to Kundasang. Staff is friendly. Room is basic. Toilet is clean but the water heater not functioning. No wifi access in the room. Free breakfast is average. Morning view at the cafe area is wonderful. Pied fantail spotted hanging around the cafe, and Black the dog. Its a walkable distance to national...
