Detailed Reviews
A clean and basic hostel in a great location. It's close enough to the sea and the main town, but just far enough away so as not to be noisy.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great value for money!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our first trip to Ilha Grande & have to say I was pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews I was unsure what to expect but we were very happy with our room & the service.
Breakfast was fine, although the juice was not very nice. The room was big, clean & comfortable - and cool, badly wanted in the heat!! Its so close to the beach & the harbour & all the shops/restaurants etc. Really convienient but far enough away to be quiet & peaceful.
The owner was really helpful & kind when I got sick & let us stay on a few extra hours on our departure date so I could recover a little. We really appreciated this & she wouldnt accept extra when we offered it.
All in all, for the price this pousada is excellent & the location was perfect for us. We hope to return again one day. We stayed during a festival so prices were a little higher but they were still very reasonable.
Oh and the caipirinhas are excellent :-)

Stayed 3 nights and rooms comfortable, but no aircon, just a fan.
However, evenings are cool, so this isn't much of a problem.
Free wifi, but service is patchy.
Breakfast is only $6 Rials and not bad, but you need to put your name down the night before.
It also has a little balcony to have a few drinks and it is a short walk to the beach and main shops.

We stayed in Pousada for 4 nights and all was good. Very friendly and warm staff, clean, good breakfast and near to the “center” ;) it has nice terrace and restaurant in the evening with delicious pasta and drinks. We would definitely come back! The island is beautiful.

I stayed here for several weeks, and had a great time. Couldn't ask more for the price. Great location, very quiet, extremely secure. The staff answered every request we had right away, and always gave us great information. I even forgot my snorkeling gear when I left the island, and they delivered it to me in another city, free of charge.

Close to the center, and to the beach. Has nice tarentinos (writing this bad, but its the argentinian version for ravioli). The place is clean and organized. The best part is the staff, and Sofi in particular. They helped in all our needs, and we did have some no regarding the stay with them.
Anyway, highly reccomended.

This is a lovely pousada with a real island feel. Located very close to beach and town (Abraao) . The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok ( it did have very nice cake!).
The room/bathroom was good. The only drawback I could say is that there was no air conditioning in the bedroom, just a fan.

First we had a room without a window!! We could change the room, but it was really musty too and we got a rush from the bed linen. Unfortunetly all double rooms are on the groundfloor with no possibilty to hang out in the garden. The breakfast is in the cellar, what is really disgusting.
We definetly could not recommend this pousada...
Stay away there!
