Just an amazing, amazing place to stay on Ilhe Grande. Everything was seamless and communication was brilliant. The views are spectacular. It is a longer distance to town than most accommodation however this is no problem as the best places on the island are closer to here than anywhere else. A brilliant day/beach bar within 5 minutes walk and 3 awesome restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Stella and Stephany and the rest of the crew were so lovely, so welcoming and had some brilliant tips. If you get chance to have a massage, use Stephany - she was absolutely brilliant, the best massage I have had to date. The room was clean and functional and waking up to those views are just the best. The only thing we could suggest for the future would be a small pool and some more sun loungers :). Nothing was too much trouble and we hope to return one day!

We stayed at Pedro Rei for 3 nights and 4 days in our Honeymoon, and we fall in love with the place and the crew. We had a lovely room with a balcony which kisses the ocean water line, so we actually got up in the morning to the best view you could ask for. The room is a bit small, but cozy. The location was great, 10-15 minutes walk to Abraao (the main town), so you can easily walk to the town, but not at the center of the island so you can chill out far enough from the loud music of the clubs and the bars. There were an amazing beaches 5-10 minutes (both paths) from the place, which one of them is a nice beach with a really good Beach bar - Julia. The crew - Stella and Stephanie - were so amazing from the first moment we get to the island. They send a taxi boat to pick us up from Abraao main pier, and made huge efforts for an early check in. They help us with everything we ask for, including plan our staying on the island, reservation of taxis and other things, and even explained the Pizza guy what we want on top of the pizza (since we do not speak Portuguese, and yes, there are food deliveries on the island). The breakfast is pretty good, in a lovely spot with view to the bay. We are highly recommend Pedro Rei (especially for couples, but not only).
