My husband's birthday precipitated a perfect get-away holiday for 4 nights at the spectacular Round Hill resort in Montego Bay. The highlights: tennis daily with the excellent pros there, beautiful ocean front hotel room with balcony, the best equipped gym I've seen in a resort setting along with Trish the knowledgeable trainer, the amazing massage by Richard, fabulous food by Chef Martin, the most accommodating service, beautiful infinity pool, and even a resident duck named Otis! They offer a one-night free if you book 4 nights plus 18% service charge and 10% tax. Take a villa tour if you want to experience staying in a mini-mansion overlooking the ocean. We will return!!

We had the pleasure to celebrate our anniversary at the stunning Round Hill Resort! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Kevin, the bellman who guided us to the front desk and provided a welcome drink of our choice. Josef Forstmayr, the Managing Director also came out and provided such a warm welcome. Jermaine provided a scented cold towel and we got checked in quickly. Kevin brought us up to our Villa and showed us around. Amazing private villa with our own pool and amazing views of the Caribbean ocean! Breakfast was provided in the Villa by Janet and Jimmy who both were such wonderful persons. We had dinner at the restaurant and Devon and Laverne took such great care of us and had a fantastic meal. Round Hill is such a gem, with amazing staff and management. Check out was done quickly by Michell, the Front Office Manager with such professionalism and warm hospitality. Round Hill had a very special place in our heart as we celebrated our anniversary several times at this beautiful resort. Book the private villa! It’s worth it!

My fiancé and I recently returned from this illustrious hotel located in a beautiful section of Hopewell Jamaica on the border of Montego Bay, and were extremely pleased with the level of service and professionalism displayed by each member of staff. Interestingly enough my fiancé and I stayed at a Riu Hotel located in Montego Bay just days prior to our reservation at Round Hill due to a personal need for a change of location, so we had the unique experience of staying at two well known hotels in one trip. We were located in the ‘Oceanfront Balcony Room’ and stayed for a total of 3 nights. Though each have their own particular styles, attractions and pricing….Round Hill Hotel was the clear winner. With stunning views, lush greenery and the way in which the property was purposefully built into the landscape we felt as though we were one with nature. Oddly enough, though it is a family friendly hotel one would assume it’s more of a couples retreat because of romantic atmosphere the property exudes with the ambient sounds of nature and dimly lit walkways. At first we were taken aback when noticing there was no tv provided in our room (though a dedicated tv room is on property), but once we opened up our window overlooking the ocean we soon realized what a distraction it would have been. The ambiance of the hotel was just the starting point. The cuisine offered at the hotel was certainly one to remember. At no point did the Chef disappoint, the menu items each night was different and featured a wide variety. The drinks were also quite fresh and never failed to pack a punch. Above all, the friendly and knowledgeable staff is who ties this place together and makes the stay worthwhile. Each meal was accompanied with laughter and wonderful conversation with the staff members. Even after checkout when our flight was delayed for 3+ hours, the staff made sure we were comfortable on the beach with a drink in hand and had our driver on standby until we were ready to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel and my fiancé and I personally look forward to returning at some point in the future.

This resort was fantastic, the staff and the property made our stay relaxing and very enjoyable.
However, I only give two stars because of the meal packages. DO NOT sign up for the meal packages, they will cost you hundreds of dollars more than you would spend at the restaurants on the property. We did not know the menu pricing prior to going but choose to go with one of the available meal packages in order to make our trip all inclusive and stress free.
After reviewing the bills provided to us at each meal we realized that the daily price of the meal plan was substantially more than what we spent each day, even if we were to order the most expensive meal options.
Upon checking out I mentioned this to the staff and asked if I could remove the meal plan and instead pay for each of the meals we had. They were unhelpful and stated that they could not do this (despite there being a bill from each meal).
While we enjoyed our time at Round Hill finding out that we paid an additional several hundred dollars for no reason left us with a bad memory.

It started off with the check-in experience. We were greeted by name and assisted with the luggage. The reception area was gorgeous with a first view of the ocean. The room was cooled down, and the view was to die for as well.
The pool and beach areas were impeccable and all the staff members are helpful, courteous and make the stay extra special.
The dining experience was out of this world. We had the opportunity to dine on the beach, the terrace, the upper dining area and also order room service. Each can be recommended.
Overall, the days went by way to fast. But we look forward to our next stay at Round Hill.

Round Hill is a timeless gem of a resort. It is kept up immaculately and the staff is friendly and professional. They have five tennis courts, three of which are Har-Tru, so easier on the knees. It's a quiet and relaxing environment, and the food and evening entertainment are most enjoyable. Tipping is customary, on top of the 18% gratuity and 10% tax on meals, so it's not a place to go if you're cost-conscious.

The Round Hill welcome is unparalleled -the friendliness and warmth of all of the Round Hill ‘family’ is the truly the best. Absolutely beautiful grounds and atmosphere with the nicest staff anywhere. The food was so-so and SO expensive it was almost shocking. The bar was a nice place to hang out away from the sun or before dinner. The spa was just OK, no steam or slippers and I found out later there was a shower but I was never told so left covered in oil from the massage. The massage room was tiny and not great.

We had heard good things about Round Hill, but it exceeded our expectations. A warm welcome on arrival (rum punch) before we were escorted to our room on the ground floor of the Pineapple House. The view from our back porch was spectacular. The room was simple but comfortable. 99% of the staff were very friendly and respectful, and we always felt safe. Joy in the dining room was especially nice. The food was pricey but good, with wonderful entertainment every night at dinner. The concierge was very helpful and set us up with drivers when we wanted to leave the resort. The Greenwood Great House was a fascinating excursion.
The spa is in a charming former wharf building away from the main part of the resort. The walk there and back was lush and beautiful. I had a wonderful massage with Ann Marie.
Because the resort is not all-inclusive, it ended up being more expensive than we imagined.
It was worth it.

Rooms are old style, not according to international standards. When we were there it was like being in a children camp. No chance to relax, very noisy. Quality of food at dining and breakfast is far away from value for money. At breakfast the buffet is very poor. Every three star hotel has a better one. Brewed coffee charged extra for 5 US Dollar. Cappuccino unbelievable 10 US Dollars. No fresh orange juice available. In such an expensive Resort! Three slices of bacon for your eggs, extra charge 6 US Dollars. You get the feeling that they just want to pull the money out of your pocket. Compared with 5 Star hotels in the world not worth to visit.

We stayed in the Hillside House in the resort but I'm sure the folks at the front desk can help- everyone at that resort is amazing and so attentive to the guests.
For the many years ive been coming to Jamaica and many clients i have sent to and from the resort its always been the trusted Top choice Jamaica Tours . They have been my go to and most reliable . There easy to book online and reliable so contact them there like family to me now .
There are more places to choose from in the Hopewell area.
