I was attracted to this place because of the name. But, our food took way too long and was sub-par. Also, compared to other cafes on Arambol Beach it was a bit expensive. If the staff was friendly it may have made up for the food but they were also quite aloof. I wouldn't recommend this place

A friend and I stayed and ate there for 4 nights. It was reasonably priced. At night there was always someone checking who entered the shacks. Upon arrival the toliet leaked but was fixed promptly. Well done! The food was decent and moderately priced. The Internet worked well enough(for goa). The password being changed multiple times a day and having...

Thank you for your comments. I only wanted to say perhaps there must have been some misunderstanding, if you are staying in Laughing Buddha you only have to order one hundred rupees for a days internet, you just need to tell the waiter your room number and order any change in the password and you are given automatically. The password...

After coming many days to the restaurant I can say that I saw very little laughter at Laughing Buddha. The design of the restaurant drew us in as it has an appealing lay out with low tables and places to relax but in my experience this is the best part about Laughing Buddha. The food is ok, prices reasonable but...

Before to move guest house we wanted to order food. The staff was very long, we waited 20min before to go, after have called someone a few times before taking the order. Where still decided to move there the day after. Not conformable place in the morning without having been warned that they cook early morning and make a lot...

I am really sorry about your experience if you were in a room near the kitchen normally you are told that there is noise early in the morning these rooms have the advantage of a sea view from the chill out area, mostly people who are doing yoga early in the morning prefer to stay in these rooms. As for...

Nice restaurant for sitting but the slow waiters who never greet or smile. The huts are very small and basic, have only cold shower and hard mattresses. Not worth the 500 they are asking for. Go next door to Triple Nine or other places and you will get much more for the same money!

This reviewer told us he was going to complain on Trip Advisor as a threat. He was staying at Laughing Buddha for one night then got up in the morning and had breakfast and luch sitting in the restaurant till 2pm using the wifi. At 3.15pm he came back and said he wanted to check out as he had found...

The food the the Laughing Buddha Restaurant is amazing. The Bringal Rogan Gosh was particularly delicious. We also had a selection of other vegetarian dishes which were also vegan and delicious. The location on the beach is also fabulous. The restaurant is a little way from the more touristy restaurants and has a wonderful atmosphere.

We travelled here after a night in Delhi, and what a change that was! Following a rather hairy taxi ride (from a guy who only later told us that he was in fact not a taxi driver, only helping his friend who had gone on holiday), we arrived in the early evening. After he'd lead us through a slightly dark,...

I had the Israeli breakfast with hummus, salad, toast and eggs, and a bowl of cereal plus tea. All for about 2.75 American dollars. Well made food, great view of the beach, and the owner/manager was very friendly. Internet speeds were 4MBS download which was way better than my hotel and nobody bothered me as I sat and caught up...

We were only planning to stay in Arambol for a few days until we found this place. It's the only spot on the beach where you can sit without being hassled by the merchants. There's great food, comfy lounge areas, nice music and we met a lot of awesome people so we ended up staying for over two weeks. The...

Again the problems here arose from the internet which is provided solely in the restaurant. It is any customers choice to spend 100 rupees and get the wifi password or use the wifi in another restaurant. This couple were told when they arrived that there was no wifi in the rooms. It is any customers choice to eat or drink...
