We have been the opening group at Grizzly for many years, there is no better way to start the sledding season off then great snow, outstanding accommodations, and an entire staff that feels like extended family. Adam and Rachael and the boys have something special going on in the mountain air. If you want the a sledding experience that will exceed every aspect then Grizzly Lodge is a must on your list.
A group of us travelled from Newfoundland to BC for a bucket list trip. Long way to go for a snowmobile ride many said. But if you have say that.....then you just don’t get it. We arrived at the lodge via the tracked beast. (Pick-up with tracks) which in itself was an awesome start. Once we entered the main building we felt at home. Fresh snacks and supper smells filled the air. Cold beverages at the bar. I was in heaven. We spent three days riding and four nights at the lodge. We had an amazing time. Everyday was fresh snow and new areas to explore. Grizzly has a top notch crew who operate with military style efficiency. We had an awesome guide for three days and he quickly determined what areas we liked and he kept them coming. Grizzly was everything I expected it to be and then some. If you love great food, great people, great riding and great memories then give Them a call. …
A wonderful 5 star experience for us. From the moment we called up to the lodge we were treated like royalty. This place is Disneyland for sledders. Great food, great hospitality and just great people in general. It was better than you could possibly imagine. Anything you needed was there. Will definitely be coming back. Bill Lowry
Just spent two days there with a buddy. The accommodations are top shelf, and the amenities are great ( massage, hot tub, sauna). The food was great and the staff are awesome. If you snowmobile them check this place out !!
My husband and I decided to do something a little different for Christmas this year and, after watching countless Chris Burandt YouTube videos, the hubs suggested making the trek out to Grizzly Lodge for a snowmobiling adventure. I have to admit, I was a little hesitant to sign up for backcountry sledding as a I only have a couple of seasons of snowmobiling under my belt. It turns out, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The terrain around Grizzly Lodge is challenging enough for experts and yet still offers plenty of riding for newbies like me. And the lodge itself? All I can say is it far exceeded my expectations. It was cozy and comfortable--every time we came back in from riding, it felt coming back to our own home (in a far better location). The staff were friendly and welcoming, treating everyone they came in contact with like the good friends they hoped to become. The food was fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared for every single meal--we definitely did not go hungry or wanting when it came to dining. The massage from Tracey was the perfect remedy to my first-two-days-of-riding-tired-and-sore muscles. Our guide, Taylar, was a patient and excellent teacher, helping us build confidence and skills in backcountry riding. There was not a single thing about this experience that disappointed. Bottom line? We have already booked our reservation for next Christmas and cannot wait for it to get here.…
