This Posada is located in a small village near Astorga. It's an easy drive, if you intend to see any of the sites in Astorga. We would have liked to stay here an extra night, because there were a few artisan places in town, we didn't get a chance to visit. The property is in an old stone dairy, very charming and beautifully renovated. Parking is easily available on the street.

Our room was comfortable, well furnished, clean and well maintained. The air con didn't work.... so we did open the window (and kept the curtains drawn to keep the flies out) overnight. There was a good shower. It was very quiet, except for the hourly bells at night. We had a small balcony overlooking the street. The staff here were helpful.

The restaurant here is amazing. We had dinner here and it was one of the best meals we had in Spain. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a bit of a disappointment. It consisted solely of toast, artisan preserves and apple cake.

We would definitely stay here again or even just come for dinner.

Charming rural hotel in a quaint little town. Easy access with parking. The hotel is just charming, the staff courteous and helpful. Restaurant is elegant and has great food: make sure you try the chickpeas with cod. Also visit the towns last textiles factories and buy some of their local products.

I chose this hotel as it was located in a small village, 545 inhabitants in all, not too far from Astorga.

We weren't certain where we could park our car, so I ran inside the hotel and the owner told us to drive up the road and park next to the hotel. She insisted we could park for the night near the hotel. It was in an cull-de-sac. However, we had planned to go to Astorga and visit it as much as we could.

When we returned from our visit, we found out that all customers had parked in the cull-de-sac and no one could go out, unless they were the last ones who parked there. Instead we parked at a nearby street and we had no problems leaving on time the next morning.

Breakfast was only at 9:30 A.M until 11:00 A.M. That was quite late for us! Instead we went to a grocery store and bought our own breakfast, which was superbly delicious. We ate in our bedroom!

This hotel also caters as a restaurant. The lobby and the restaurant has AC, but our rooms had none. Luckily they had a blind made of mesh, which kept the room cool. We didn't need any AC. Our room was very comfortable and we had lots of place to put our things. We slept well and that's what counts the most. No mosquitoes! Also the WIFI worked quite well and the village was very peaceful during the night.

At 8 A.M. we paid our bill and left for other adventures.

This tastefully converted and decorated old building gives you an opportunity to spend a night in comfort in an authentic and tourist-free "pueblo" in a less visited part of Spain. Our room (YbdoƱuela) was spacious and tastefully furnished. There is a lot of interesting artwork both in the common areas and in the room. The restaurant is very good. The local El Bierzo wine suggested by the waitress was superb

a small cosy hotel with a unique atmosphere! The location is very nice for someone who wants to stay away from a city and enjoy relaxing atmosphere of the village. We stayed one night and it was awesome. The service was very friendly, the room was top clean and the food in the hotel (michelin star) restaurant was excellent. The small details make the difference too, so I appreciated a lot the home-made cake and fresh orange juice for breakfast or yves-rocher as a shower gel and shampoo brand.

La Lecheria is a tradition and very authentic bed and breakfast in a small village near Astorga. There is also a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is basic but okay: bread, sweet cake, orange juice, coffee and marmelades. I can recommend La Lecheria. It is a perfect place if you want to visit Astorga (5 km) or Leon (50 km).

The hotel is a beautiful, rustic style of an old dairy, quiet, clean, pretty and with a most pleasant staff. I could not enjoy the restaurant, because on Tuesdays it is closed, but breakfast is very good.

Excellent in every way.
Owner, Ruben, a good host.
Charming building. The rooms are spartan but tasteful and suitable to this very well recovered building with all kinds of details without being recharged.
Very high quality breakfast and Fine Dining Fan food.

Everything as described. Additionally: There is no fridge or minibar in the room, the TV is very small, and the double bed is also rather small. We had a room in the attic, but unfortunately the wooden ceiling creaked all night long, which was annoying. In the afternoon there was a bad smell from the drain or something in the bathroom and the room. There was also "only" a bathtub, there was no holder for the shower head, so you always had to hold the shower head above your head. It's weird. Breakfast is a "sweet" breakfast, which the Spanish might like, but not me. Problem: The breakfast is the same every day. A shame.

Unforgettable vacation experience due to friendliness, rooms, decoration and EXCELLENT cuisine.
We will return more times. The owners RubƩn and Marƭa and the employees treated us wonderfully. They advise you on routes, restaurants...The best restaurant is La Lecherƭa. Val de San Lorenzo, a small town of beautiful stone houses. HIGHLY recommended.

Espero haberte ayudado. Saludos
