We stayed at Ban Chantra. SBV website photographs show the villa when it was new (about 8 years ago) and disappointingly the villa had not at all been properly maintained and kept in good order. The five star kitchen was falling apart, the furnishing tatty and crockery all chipped. In a nutshell the villa was miss sold on the pretext...

We visited Koh Samui in December 2011 with the idea of moving around the Thai islands every 2 days or so. Initially we searched for hotels and came across SBV by luck. We chose a ground floor ocean suite and were very pleased. The room was large, clean, wireless inet, cable tv and right on the beach. Every morning went...

We visited Koh Samui in late september for 4 days and booked an ocean front suite for us( 2 A+2C). The pick up at the airport was smooth. The check in was very prompt and we didnt even have to get down from the vehicle to do the paperwork! The room itself was quite spacious and had a fairly decent...

SBV Beach - only downside HOWEVER Tha fact that there are no crashing waves and pure White sandy beach means it's much more quiet and unspoilt with only a handful of locals keeping to themselves and other holidayers going for a long walk into the water as tide comes in just before sunset.romantic and/or meditative. Incredibly you can walk for...

We came here to unwind and we did just that. The location was terrific - we wanted peace and quiet away from the crowds and this was just the right place. The staff were amazing - so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was terrific. On the downside our room was a bit small and could have...

We stayed in SBV on 25 July-03 August and overall the spending time there was perfect. The staff was very friendly and immediately responsive to all requests. At the same time, the attitude was quite unobtrusive to ensure our privacy . So main advantage of SMB for us was an opportunity to choose spending all day in SMB with its...
