We choose this hotel for its location in Phuket City and the price offered considering the type of room. The room was very clean and quiet, the breakfast was great, the customer service was excellent. Only the locatuon could be better but that's something that we only noticed after arriving on the island. It's a good choice!

Excellent hotel. Exceptionally clean in the room, public areas, pool area and especially the eating room. The staff are most helpful, friendly and mostly English-speaking. The included breakfast was really good, albeit very Thai which gives the experience of real authenticity.
The location also was good for us, about 1.5 kms from the centre of Phuket old town. Also there are several street food “restaurants” within a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Liked it so much, we’ve booked again for next year!!!

This is a good simple hotel positioned very well in the old Phuket town. The rooms are rightfully sized and clean, don’t expect too much in terms of room service and the breakfast menu, though limited, but was good enough for the price we paid.
In all, it’s good value for money in old Phuket!

The hotel brekky is always cold daily eggs, ham, sausages about the only hot dish is the yoghurt (yes you read that right) and rice. The residents slam doors all night we had 4 times complained to reception at 1am and they said what do you want us to do? Then you have the maids slam doors all morning as they want to clean your room and even if you have do not disturb sign on your door. Be aware they wash your cups and cutlery in their water which smells putrid, beds are rock hard and water pressure is a trickle at nest. The hotel is quute the distance from Bangla road and not much to offer around it and most tour operators charge extra baht as you are outside the pick up zone
I would not recommend this place i am sorry to say

The hotel claims to be a boutique hotel but is far from it! Rooms are very basic and weren't particularly clean when we checked in. The location isn't too bad but you do need a taxi to get to most downtown venues. The pool is OK but very small. It does have a good gym facility and breakfast is OK

The hotel is pretty easy to find with a huge billboard on a street corner. Parking is plenty available in front of the hotel.

Check in was fast and easy. The rooms were as promised. Very basic with no shower curtains or doors = the whole bathroom is the shower.

The AC was amazing. Quiet and powerful. The doors however are not really trustworthy, no safe or lockbox either but there are cameras in every floor. The view was okay.

Breakfast is very asian with loads of rice and noddles and a little heartless. The staff was present but thats about it.

The pool is cool but very small. View is okay.

Unfortunately the location of the hotel is a big drawback. There is not really anything around the hotel.

Recommended for a short stay and backpackers looking for peace.

Good hotel for a couple of days in Phuket Old Town.
Rooms were clean. Bed large and very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.
Close enough to walk into the town centre though beware the uneven pavements.

We stayed at Royal P for a week while holidaying in Phuket. The foyer area is very nice and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms could be better organised. Beds are large and comfortable. Shower has no curtain so sprays over entire floor making the bathroom very wet. Both windows leaked in heavy rain. Breakfast is included in price and offers some Western food with a lot of Thai food. There is a nice rooftop pool which we enjoyed. The hotel is not in a very handy area and it's necessary to get taxis to most places. Price is very good.

The hotel is relatively new and offering for the price paid the best value, spacious room with huge bed, clean tidy and small balcony. The reception offers a taxi service and easy walking distance (10mn) from Phuket old town, overall nice hotel if you stay in Phuket town
