Its a little hostel. Good rooms. Good bathroom. Its quiet. The only thing we had trouble with , was the fact that we needed to make the check out at 6 30 AM and the guy of the counter was sleeping. We had to ring the bell several times. , and after 20 minutes the guy finally came out of a room with the bed sheet on to cover himself 🙈. Hahah it was quiet funny . But i recommend this place if you just need a place to sleep and go

Honestly I stayed in here one year ago, 11 - 13 March 2013. This hotel is located in the middle of city where you can find things you needed easily. You can go to minimarket, restaurant, or market by walk. You also can get scooter rent near the hotel. This place is far from beach, but that's okay for my friend and I. We stayed here for 3 night and the owner was so kindly even give us 2 room just for us (he didn't mix us with another guest). The place is so nice, very clean and neat. The bathroom is very clean also. And the owner is so kind and his husky is very handsome too :)

I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Phuket.

Travel with 2 friends on March 11 - 13, 2013.

I liked the architecture of this place.
Rooms are clean and small. I didn't liked that it's hot all the time, although the fan helps.
The lady who takes care of this place is amazing. I really enjoyed talking to her, she is sweet and kind and always willing to help. She gave me a big hug when I left :)
I don't complain about this place because it is cheap, well located in Phuket downtown and the lady in the reception is so nice.
I recommend it for a short stay only.
I stayed for 2 nights in November 2013.

Bed pillow ok. Blanket no. Design layout is cool. Strong shower no hot water. Management seems nice. Location is very good near the center pf phuket town like the market, circle. But after showering and putting insect repellent all over body... Still woke up mid sleep scratching...

My room on 2 flloor and the bathroom is on 1 floor very far distance
No bathroom on 2 floor
Very heavy rules and they never mention in the internet in the appoinment before.
I not allowed to cook hot water.. bring food on the room. Must be in 1st floor. They keep my water cooker.
They ask 200 baht for key deposit. They promise will return but 200 bath for ugly hotel like that with no bathroom ????
They half squeeze me they said if i not happy i can cancel but only return the half my money. I only have stay for 1 day and i already pay for 18 days from agoda. 1 day price is 100baht. And i already pay almost 2000 baht. They said only return 1000 baht if i cancel now. Now i stay only 1 day

Hostel run by the Architect and his family who are lovely. The rooms are basic but design is interesting as it's built in what looks like an old car garage. There is even a car parked in reception! We booked a double with fan. It was really hot to get ready in the room but at night with fan on we slept fine. The family live in the hostel so expect them to be around, its like being in their home. Defintely worth a visit if you're interested in design and they'll give you a tour. Really cheap rooms, clean and bathroom facilities are ok (cold showers!). 5 minutes walk to Old Town Phuket which is lovely and has lots of eating and drinking options. Quite a distance to the beaches but a bus can be caught for less than £1 (about a 45min-1hr journey to Patong beach).

No hot water, which is not mentioned anywhere. Very dusty (sawdust) and feels like it's still being built. Capsules have gap at top so it's really light in them, and you share air con between the capsules so got really cold as you dont have control. There was only the grandma there the whole time and she didn't speak any English, so I couldn't get help with getting a minibus to the airport. Would be better to stay in a backpackers or single room for not much more.

The design of this B&B inn is through the roof! The owners are Thai brothers who decided to make good use of their brilliant talents for interior designing this small but very quaint hotel that combines the old and new elements of Phuket town. What you get is this cool playhouse! It gets its name from the sleeping "capsules" which come in handy when you're alone backpacking and you just need a little space to keep you comfortable at night as you await for your departure to the picturesque islands of Krabi. It serves that purpose pretty well. If you need something else, look for some place else. But, during my overnight stay with my wife, this stopover was exactly what we needed, except for some unfriendly scent in the morning from the neighbors. Overall, Phuket Capsule is impressive, innovative, original, minimalist and a fascinating cross between modern and vintage. Too, the brothers are very welcoming!

Unique building, functional guest space and practical amenities. I was transiting through Phuket and just needed a spot to nod off for the night - this was perfect!

The capsule room was a small space big enough only for a mattress and a small locker. Each room has a light for reading and a lock on the door.

The common area is large with space enough for chatting with new friends or researching your next destination. The kitchen is stocked with instant coffee and tea - which is complementary. There is a 7-11 close by, so you can stock up on water or yogurt if you need it.

There is a large communal sink for washing up or brushing your teeth. The bathroom is segregated for boys and girls with a toilet/shower combos. Difficult to figure out where to change and the bath can get a bit wet.

Space is very minimalist - but, as the previous poster said a bit dusty. Seems a good vacuum rather that just a sweep could do the place a little good. But, that is not really unlike any other budget place I've experienced in Thailand.

Overall - would recommend - booked for $11 dollars on Agoda - very happy with this budget hotel.

Room Tip: If you are just one person, the capsules are plenty enough.
