Detailed Reviews
A great guest house located in a quiet dead end street in the heart of the old town. We arrived after 6pm and the Cafe / reception was closed but no worries, as they had emailed us earlier on the day for arrival time and left the key in the lock box. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The air con worked well. Would definitely recommend if staying in the old town.

We just stayed at Na Siam Guesthouse for five nights and there was nothing to complain about. The guesthouse was opened half a year ago which means everything is brand new. The room offered everything which was needed to have a pleasant stay and the bed was very comfortable.
The place itself is located in the middle of the lovely Phuket old town where you can find plenty of nice cafés and restaurants just near-by.
Former complaints we cannot share! No cockroaches at all, warm water was available at any time. Regarding the English skills of the owner and the employees most reviews are right but still we are in a foreign country and at least they tried always so hard to give us a hand with our queries. Even if the owners are not all the time available at the guesthouse you can write them an email which will be replied at once. Here we would like to point out the lovely woman from Myanmar who works at the guesthouse.
Beside you can rent from them a scooter which is really convenient to explore the island on your own.
Our favourite beach was Kata Noi which was less crowded than most of the other beaches.
One remark to the offered islands boat day trip. It is by far too stressful due to the tight agenda which doesn't allow you to enjoy the visited places at all. Beside it is not worth the money you have to pay. Try to organise something on your own instead.
Finally we only can encourage people to stay at this place. Enjoy your time at Na Siam Guesthouse because we did :)

Our rooms were great, very well done, good beds and good AC. Still, they lacked on quite simple things that ended disappointing us, like our reservation was for a room with 3 beds, but found out at arrival that they don't even have such room in their inventory and we had to get into a big argument to convince them to accommodate us in 2 different rooms (we were a group of 3 friends). 1 room had only 1 roll of toilet paper, the other room had no toilet paper at all. There was also no hair dryer, very simple toilet amenities and no breakfast. All in all I would still stay again in this hotel if it was again a good deal, otherwise I would also look into other options for comparison.

This hotel is in a great location, near numerous bars and eateries, and walking distance to the weekend markets, which sells amazing food at amazing prices.
To be fair we walked past numerous other modern looking guesthouses, to and from this less than average abode.
Firstly, on arrival, at the less than welcoming receptionist, we were ushered within seconds of arrival towards a stiarcase, we had 2 large bags and 2 small/light bags, i took 3 of the bags, my tiny thai girlfriend took another as the rece[tionist lead us up the stairs waiting on us as we struggled with the bags,
Not a smile, not an offer of help, nothing except a sullen, hurry up look on her face.
Far from a great start, we entered the melting hot room, got handed the key and away she went.
Straight away i noticed a hole and a dirty stain on the sheets.
I reluctantly returned to the receptionist to explain, after an eye rolling exercise, she came to the room and took a photo, advised us the maid had gone home and it would be fixed the next day, i asked for another room and got the typical thai respnse , oh we are fully booked.
Anyway ill wait and see if this gets done.
The rooms have the typically tiny bar fridge stacked with all the expensive stuff nobody ever buys, leaving no room for your own items.
The tv channels are numerous but hardly any english channels, and half of them dont work anyway.
Ironically with a fridge full of drinks for purchase, this place fails to even provide a drinking glass.
No drinking facilities whatsoever in fact, not even a kettle?
There is one plug beside the one bedside table that you can use to charge stuff.
The toilet roll holder came crashing off the wall on our first time of use.
The carpet is paper thin and isn't even stuck to the concrete floor, it is seriously raised in some parts causing e genuine tripping hazard.
I havent had a shower yet, but it looks less than inviting.
On a positive note, the wifi is strong and the air conditioning very good.
I am aware this place was cheap, but i at least expect the bare minimum in hospitality and amenities, this hotel has failed on both counts.
I wont return, and i am considering getting a refund from expedia, for the next 2 nights i have booked.

Easy check-in, cool design, and powerful AC. We easily ventured out into Old Town Phuket and surrounding area on foot, and there are dozens of restaurants right outside your hotel room. We would stay here again.

Stayed at Na Siam Guesthouse for two nights. The location was excellent, right in the center of Phuket Old Town and convenient to get around. The decoration was nice. The owners were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially when I was lost and called them for help. The room was clean and the price was reasonable. The only thing I wish it could be improved was the low water pressure.
PS. On the opposite side of the Guesthouse, there are famous vendors selling local food. Don't miss it!

Great place to stay for visiting Old Phuket. There were no windows in our rooms which was a bit strange but everything was extremely new and clean. Excellent bathroom. Had a little difficulty finding someone at check out time. Perfect for a one night stay.

Very clean - reasonably priced coffee shop (MUCH cheaper that the resorts) with good free WI-FI access. Good menu with a range of well needed refreshments after you have been walking the streets of Phuket Town. Staff are very accommodating although their English is not great but hey - we are foreigners in their country so we have to do our best to make ourselves understood.

Stayed here for just one night in between arriving on Phuket and catching the ferry to Phi Phi. Friendly staff, nice rooms (no cupboards though!) and good location for seeing old phuket town. Good wifi and nice coffee.
