We attended a concert and stayed overnight at this delightful old manor house which has been converted into convenient and comfortable accommodation. Our room was huge. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Our package included an evening meal and concert tickets. The concert hall was state of the art yet in keeping with the rural setting....

Arrived very, very late ... Owner welcomed us as if we were family. Rooms sparkling clean - were asked if we were still hungry .... You actually stay in a concierge-style house. Breakfast very "genuine". Not a100 meter buffet but just the breakfast as home. Got to see the gardens the day after with the owner. Spoke with the Gardner...

Have just stayed for weekend in this fabulous B&B . It is certainly a top end B&B . We stayed in a courtyard room which was very spacious , felt like we were in a cottage and was spotless clean . The breakfast was fantastic , 5* , fresh produce and a very generous portion . The staff and owners...

The locals describe Rhosygilwen as 'West Wales' answer to Glyndebourne'. What was a derelict mansion in Pembrokeshire has been transformed into a wonderful music and arts venue where we've now attended many of their musical events which offer the opportunity to enjoy 5 star entertainment as well as 5 star catering (or your own picnic in the grounds if you...

The property is set in lovely grounds and beautiful buildings. It is difficult to find and after driving round for a while I found it. I was welcomed and shown to my room which was ample size with character and skylight. The bed was comfortable and nice biscuits and hot chocolate. There was however no Wi-Fi coverage in the external...

Booked this hotel through booking.com. Had trouble finding the hotel so phoned and left a message only to find out after 5 five minutes I was in the grounds but came in the wrong way. Good job I wasn't lost as writing this review I still have not got a call back. Pulled up knocked on three doors shouted in...

We attended a wedding here last night and from start to finish everything was perfect! Id never heard of Rhos y gilwen before so didn't know what to expect, but it was faultless! The food was full of flavour, beautifully cooked and presented - the meringues were to die for! The staff were all lovely, attentive and looked like they...

We attended a wedding at Rhosygilwen and it is a beautiful mansion house in a great location. With a separate building that holds the wedding dinner and party at night. This is also a beautiful building with a orangery looking out onto the grounds and fields. The mansion house is something special, we stayed in a room off the courtyard,...

A huge thank-you to Gabby, Helen & Glen. What an amazing venue. Set in the heart of West Wales this venue is a 'must' even if only to experience the quality of the sound in the events hall( seeing is believing) and then retreat to the peaceful B&B bedrooms for a lovely overnight stay. The grounds of the mansion are...

To start with, our taxi driver got lost between Carmarthen station and the venue! We were there to attend a family wedding and were enchanted by its magical qualities: peace, birdsong, sunshine, scenery that was stunning and amazing helpful staff. We stayed in a small cottage away from the mansion house - just a few steps - that was beautifully...

“If you are using public transport ensure you get a cab company such as Home James who seem to serve this venue quite well and will not get lost coming from Carmarthen railway station. You can call Gabby at the venue and she can organise a cab for you.”
