My husband saw a deal advertised on Wowcher for this hotel. Before purchasing he called the hotel, mentioning the deal, to check availability for July, and was told "yes" rooms were available for our chosen dates. He duly bought the voucher and called The Baskerville Arms back only to be told that the voucher was not valid for the dates...

Lovely location, just far enough out of Hay, but easily cyclable and with a brilliant series of bike rides straight from the door. Really welcoming staff and chatty locals, good beers, warming fires and well appointed bedrooms wonderfully suitable for tired walkers/cyclists and their slightly less tired springer. Good selection of pub food and lovely puddings. Sensible option of inclusive...

Had a lovely break for one night, the food was amazing compliments to the chef. The room was comfortable and warm, unfortunately breakfast was too early for us and we missed it so can't say what it was like but if it was anything like the evening meal I'm sure it would have been lovely

The room was a little outdated with a few minor fixture and fittings needing repair. The bed was very comfy and...

The staff at The Baskerville Arms are very friendly and helpful, especially the female bar staff who helped us take our meals to our room and the lady who serves the breakfast. The food was really tasty and good value for money and the room had everything that you would need, including tea/coffee facilities. However, the room was freezing even...

We booked two nights with a wowcher deal. This hotel is a gem of a place. It is not the plushest of hotel decor. But they make up for it with great food, drink, service and proper hospitality. We took our two dogs who were welcomed as warmly as we were. The ales were great and the steak was the...
