Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the sea towards Naxos. What made the stay special was the staff, especially Evangelis and Margarita - apologies about the spelling! - plus everyone else, whose name we didn’t catch.
The white, sandy beach at the hotel is small but ideal for families. Plenty of free sun loungers. Just watch out for the windsurfers, who tend to drift into the area where people swim. You can also spend the day by the lovely pool.
The food was delicious, although there could be more variety for dinner, and Specials should be displayed in a chalkboard or as a separate menu. Perhaps a BBQ one evening or a Greek evening with music would make a longer stay more enjoyable.
We went to the nearby harbour Piso Livadi a couple of times for dinner. Both Markakis and Halaris were lovely, especially sitting outside next to the water.
As the hotel is not really within walking distance of shops or restaurants, you either have to get taxis (reasonably priced but it adds up) or hire a car (60 Euro/day + 12 Euro extra insurance. Petrol was around 2.20 Euro/l. Alternatively you can get a quad bike or ATV.
There are a couple of smaller hotels next door but not much else. Golden Beach is 20 mins walk with a large beach bar and a couple of tavernas, although I’m not sure whether they are open for dinner.
We hired a car (with air con!) for 2 days and toured the island. Visited Lefkes in the centre and had dinner in Naoussa. Both are lovely and definitely worth visiting. Naoussa has some lovely shops and great restaurants. You can get back to the hotel in less than 1/2 hr.
On the second day we visited the capital Parikia and took the 10 min ferry to Antiparos to have dinner at The Rooster on the other side of the island. One bit of advice. Don’t book dinner if you want to see the sunset as it is in a walled garden - very strange! Maybe have an early dinner and then drinks in the bar area, which overlooks the sea and you can watch the sunset.
All in all, great stay at St George. If you are after a relaxing, authentic Greek holiday, service with a smile, and don’t mind being a bit remote, we would definitely recommend it.
We went to Santorini for one night before flying home - apart from the stereotypical pictures you see on Instagram, we did not like it. Paros is much cleaner and less crowded. Would come back to Paros but not Santorini.

This 4* resort has all you need for the perfect island holiday: spotlessly clean accommodation, well designed and renovated sea view rooms, all run by very friendly and capable staff, who go to great lengths to satisfy their guests.
The hotel has an attractive pool, located next to a wonderful restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. All of this can be enjoyed with a truely breath-taking panorama: overlooking a great little sandy beach with crystal clear blue waters and stunning views of Naxos island. Passing ferries and sailing vessels provide your 'living landscape', as well as daredevil kite surfers who perform the most amazing of stunts.
The hotel is located in a quiet area of Paros, so you will need your own transport to get around. The towns of Naoussa and Paroikia (ferry port) are approximately a half hours drive away, with the airport at twenty minutes. There is not much going on nearby, so ideal for those who are seeking peace and quiet. The lovely small harbour village of Piso Livadi is a great gem, a few kilometers up north, charming but without the pretentions of upmarket Naoussa.
In all, Saint George Beachfront Hotel is a great place with great people, very reasonably priced and has it all for your Paros holiday. We would return here anytime.

We booked a family apartment and double at St George Hotel and found the hotel to be stunning. We loved the views from the rooms over the sea. Rooms were beautifully furnished with crips linen, towels and beautiful toiletries. Within the family apartment there were 2 bathrooms and the ability to close off the children's room.
The swimming pool area was beautiful, and we also enjoyed the hotel's sun loungers on the beach. The rest of my family enjoyed a wind surf lesson during our stay. Breakfasts were very tasty with lots of choice and stunning views while eating. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!
It definitely helped having a car and we could explore different areas (we did the Byzantine trail from Lefkes, and went on a boat trip) and could go to different locations for dinner. We particularly enjoyed Markakis in Piso Livadi.

The hote well appointed and well-maintained. No clutter in the interior design and plenty of space. The GM Katerina, the driving force of the property, offered us an upgrade to a newly-renovated room with a beautiful beach view! Thank you Katerina! And also to the other Katerina at reception who helped us with our reservation because we arrived the day before our expected arrival! We also appreciated the restaurant staff's attention; always making sure that all our needs are taken care of at breakfast and very quick in remembering our breakfast routine! A wonderful way to start the day. Thank you as well to the women who cleaned the room who were so accomodating. We attended a 4-day wedding event in Paros, so coming back to the hotel at the end of each day after sightseeing and wedding activities was very restful and replenishing. Mille mercis and we will certainly be back!

The hotel is located on a hillside. It’s beautiful and spacious. Modern room, very clean.
You definitely need a car but there is a bus route that runs along the main road. Short distance to either the port or the main town (but not walkable)
It’s quiet, relaxing, and kite surfing/windsurfing near by. The staff is nice, courteous and willing to help. The Breakfast every morning it amazing! We hope to be back very soon!

Katarina the General Manager is the best feature of this hotel. A bumpy check-in was quickly sorted out satisfactorily once she got involved. We had a very spacious family room with two bathrooms. The location of the hotel right on the beach with a perfect view of Naxos from the pool deck is wonderful. Draw backs are that the hotel is a little old fashioned looking and feeling even though it has had a recent refurbishment. Wifi was spotty in the restaurant but decent in the room. The food is okay but not worth staying in for. Better to explore restaurants elsewhere on the island. The hotel has plenty of parking for your rental car. We stayed three nights and it was a comfortable and pleasant experience.

There’s a lot that is good here.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Room, balcony and bathroom were spacious and toiletries were high quality.
Breakfast was good and very pleasant by the pool.
Wifi dropped out regularly.
We were a bit unlucky with the seasonal Meltemi wind blowing strongly throughout our entire stay so we didn’t use the beach - although it looked nice.
We ate at the restaurant on night one and were disappointed. Thank goodness for Blue Dolphin next door - their food was fabulous.
If you have a car you will have no problem. We used the local KTEL buses and they worked well. The closest bus stop is called New Golden Beach. It’s not on the timetables or maps but it’s about a 15 min walk from the hotel. The Golden Beach stop is a 30 min walk.
There are 4 restaurants in walking distance (2 would probably be best while it’s still light). There is a mini mart at the Golden Beach bus stop and 45 mins from the hotel is the village of Drios with several restaurants, cafe, ATM and good size supermarket.

We spent wonderful 12 days in this hotel with two kids, age 16 and 12.
Family rooms are great with breathtaking view and a nice terrace. Perfectly clean and linen/towels changed every two days or even more often if there is a need. Just few steps away is a beautiful pool and a restaurant. It was amazing to wake up every morning and have a breakfast at the terrace overlooking fantastic beach, which is only 20m away.
There is a windsurf club next door and we can recommend this activity. We all as a family enrolled lessons, which added dynamic and fun, plus teenager was really satisfied and tired in the evening:).
The restaurant Blue Veranda has fantastic food and prepares daily caught fish. Excellent staff of the restaurant and Hotel as a whole. Charming Katerina is a perfect manager, overlooking everything, really like a Hotel’s Mum. Always there to help. It is highly recommended to have a car and to explore this beautiful island, as everything is up to 30 min drive. We shall definitely return!!

We can’t wait to go back next year!
There are no words to fully capture just how WONDERFUL Saint George really is. This was our second year in a row and it was even better than we remembered. They recently renovated the hotel and did a beautiful job making the rooms feel fresh and elegant without losing the beachy feel.
The staff are all incredibly welcoming and very attentive. Anna and the team at the restaurant remembered how we liked our coffee in the morning and she makes you feel like family. Stratis at the front desk had great restaurant recommendations and even remembered us from the year prior.
What sets this hotel apart is that you’re not treated like just another guest: you feel valued, appreciated, and welcome. The Saint George and the wonderful people that work there make you feel like you’re home.

Excellent hotel! Beautiful pool and beach. Access to bus a short walk up the hill, but would recommend having a car for your stay. Restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming, and attended to all of our needs with huge warm smiles on their faces. My wife and I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Paros.

Dear value customer
Thank you for your message. Kindly note that the number of taxis on Paros is limited. It is strongly recommended to rent a car.
Thank you

I would recommend renting a car. I rented a Volkswagen 4 door auto for 3
of us @USD45 per day. We went to many places on the island so its well worth it. The hotel helped with the booking. make sure you have your drivers license.
