We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights and what a wonderful stay. The team are friendly and helpful. The campsite is private and peaceful. Enock took us to the mouth, what an experience. He also arranged someone to who took us to Ponta. It was just awesome and we surely will visit them again and again. Thanks to Ken...

This is our third stay at Utshwayelo and it was great to see how the quality has stayed consistent since our first visit in 2010. We stayed in a chalet and spent time hiking along the beach, next to and across the lakes and just staring into space. The snorkeling was good too. This is the place to stay if...

We are saddened that you left without informing us of your dissatisfaction. We were aware that some campers had left due to inclement weather and thought you had left for the same reason, as you had been with us for six nights already. We did inform you and apologised on your arrival that our main generator (which is housed in...

I wanted to love Utshwayelo. But, I couldn't quite love it for a couple of reasons. We were in two chalets (4&5) that were next to each other for our family of five. First, the good things. The location, for access to Kosi Mouth and the fact that you can drive down without getting an entrance from Ezemvelo is great....

Amazing location, helpful and friendly staff, working and clean facilities, comfy accommodation, and activities that only take a word to get organised. Add in a pool, totally off-the-grid power and an honesty bar, and Utshwayelo has everything you need! We loved it.

We did the tutle tour which was amazing and also did a fishing trip- no fish but lovely snorkelling in the mangroves. The camp was fully booked, but we still had our privacy and also...

We stayed for 3 nights, but it felt like much longer. The tent we stayed in had an amazingly comfy bed with great quality linen. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The snorkeling down at the mouth was simply amazing, something I would recommend as a must when visiting. Big thank you to Ken and his team for a...

We booked the accomodation as per the online pictures. We realized on our arrivel that there is a shared kitchen facility. Lighting around the chalets is very poor so you are afraid beacuse of the very dense bush, makes a great home for snakes. Our parents battled with insets and other funny things, the most horrible part was the outside...
