So to start at the beginning....Booked through Air Canada Vacations without any issues...We arrived at the airport and there was no air canada vacations rep to be found so we took a cab to the resort...$27 USD for the 3 of us and that what we expected based on researching things prior to booking. Arrived at the hotel and ck in was a simple process...got upgraded to the Oceans section which is newer and most if not all room look out south over the water...we were in room 1222 and had great views of the cruise ship terminal, great bay and Phillipsburg. We didnt get the AI plan and now after tallying up the credit card statement we saved $400 CAD compared to what it would have cost for the AI option. However we had a car and travelled each day so if you prefer to stay on site and just eat and drink from sunup to sundown then maybe the AI plan is a better option...but we were 2 adults and a child (8)...also to note for those that do want to start drinking there was no bar services until 1100 or 1200 some days. The resort is cashless with the exception of the little store on site for sundries...all meals and DIVI related expenses are either CC or add to you room...the hotel applies a $400 USD security/cover for expenses on your card at ck in. Also at ck in you were given tickets for free drinks and a draw for an activity that was scheduled for an hour the day after arrival...this was primarily to discuss condo/time share options but we didnt attend...and TBH we werent bothered at all during our stay to buy into the resort...maybe because we were off site quite a bit...There are a variety of restaurants but we only ate at Gizmos (beach) The Shack (mexican) and the Pizza place....a great option for eating is at the Gingerbread Cafe which is a short 300 m walk up the beach. The beach is great, always lots of chairs and calm water...note that when he cruise ships come in some passengers will come to Divi for a day pass. The Fort Amsterdam historic site , end the south end of the resort is a great place to walk to and explore. The pools are open all the time and have lighting at night...and theres also a hot tub and yes its hot...but why would you sit in a hot tub for hours slurping rum drinks when its 33 to 38C out....strikes me as a wee bit Bat S**T crazy IMHO lol....towels are provided on arrival if they have any and are normally delivered/avail at the reception area at 9 am...one thing about our room location was that we could dry everything very easily on the balcony....The day of departure ck out is 10 although the website says 11, but just went to the desk and asked and 11 wasnt a problem...there is a baggage room and hospitality room for changing for later departure...Of note there was no air canada rep at the hotel the entire time nor were there any transfers arranged for travel back to the airport but there are cabs...this issue isnt resort caused this falls on Air Canada Vacations.... shout out to Janry on the cleaning/maintenance staff team and thanks to all the other members who kept it running.

Divi Little Bay provides a vacation that actually feels like a vacation. The all-inclusive plan is an excellent option that provides variety and flexibility, and it frees you up to think about other things (like where all the iguanas are coming from). The grounds are immaculate, and the entire team works to provide a clean, safe, inviting space to unwind, enjoy the live music, relax at the pool, snorkel in the bay, or figure out what else sounds good. (The all-inclusive plan includes snorkel equipment, kayaks, and boogie boards.)
The meals were tasty -- the pizza at Slice was a favorite, and dinner at pureocean made for a wonderful end to our days. I appreciated that the breakfast buffet has plenty of protein options and isn't just a continental breakfast. J and Wendy, at the pool bar, consistently go above and beyond to make each guest feel welcomed. Whether it's the music selection for the pool area, or the drink suggestions and custom service, they excelled at customer care every time we saw them interacting with guests.
Our room at Oceans was clean and well laid-out, with a great view of the bay and Sava Island off the balcony. The bathroom was large and spacious. The bathroom door is our only complaint about the room. I'm not a fan of light-filtering bathroom doors, in general, but the gap at the sides was a little awkward, and the door needs to be shaved to handle the wood swelling and prevent it from dragging on the floor, but that was our only complaint about the room. The beds were comfortable and clean, the AC nice and cold, and the fridge/kitchen area was great for small prep and keeping snacks.
This was my first vacation in years, and my daughter's first trip outside the US, and our experience at Oceans at Divi Little Bay was great. We knew we had a comfortable, friendly space to return to after exploring the island each day, and the days we stayed on-site were just as enjoyable.

This is a very late review from last March! We decided at the last minute to try and get away for a trip to the Caribbean. We searched the islands for hotels and air fares and decided we wanted to visit St. Maarten. With help from our Travel Agent we turned to the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort but we were not impressed with the reviews. We then found that Divi had constructed Oceans at Divi during COVID. We booked a 1 Bedroom suite with ocean view and breakfast for 5 days and had an amazing vacation! The beaches are shared with the Divi but are very large and beautiful, the staff is very nice, with one exception, and lunch at the Divi Beach Restaurant was excellent. Breakfast at the resort was handled by Divi. It was not up to the quality of the Oceans guestrooms and suites and should be improved. The bar at Oceans should not be missed !! Our suite would compare to any 5 Star Resort on the island. Along with the magnificent views overlooking the bay and cruise ships we had a full service kitchen, nicely furnished and large living room, 2 large screen TV's, a large king bedded room and 2 bathrooms with showers and sinks connected to 1 toilet area. There was ample closet and drawer space for long stays. We enjoyed our balcony each morning with a cup of coffee and watching the cruise ships come in and go out. We did not have dinner at the resort but the Concierge Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel team just needs to bring up the service levels in all areas to levels an Oceans Guest would expect. My only major disappointment with the resort came at checkout. We went for a walk in the morning, had breakfast, packed and I went to checkout with a very nice front office agent when the woman next to her came over and chastised me for checking out at 11:30 which was after the 10 AM checkout time. I was totally unaware of the co time. There is nothing in the Oceans Suites that makes that notation and no one told us about this at check in. She informed me that the late fee would be $100 per hour. I argued with her, paid my bill and she then had security escort me to my room to make sure we vacated. Really??? She did not charge me for the late fee but is was hard to believe this happened after paying over $900 per night with fees and taxes. I would come back to this resort for the beautiful rooms, views, location on the island, beaches, areas to take walks on the large property and the overall friendly staff.

People are amazing. Want to start with recognizing the amazing team that made our stay incredible; Pureocean Restaurant- Amanda, Mimi, Caron. Your smiles started our day out. Pierre @ Gizmos- you are always on point with a smile . The property is beautiful and the beach outstanding. Lots of chairs, umbrellas and shady areas . The pools are nice and big however, small adult only pool that unfortunately always had kids splashing around. The bars open at 11 am and close at 11pm, there is little to nothing to do after 11pm. The nightly entertainment was good but ended by 10pm, definitely need a little nightlife, maybe till midnight .
Food is varied and good however note all restaurants, except Pureocean is open air dining. We had no problems getting reservations but would recommend doing them for the week to ensure you get the seating time you want.
Rooms are large with good working A/C and large shower. Note sometime hot water is not available. Found letting the water run for 5 mins worked or early morning.
Property is very large with lots of walking and stairs. There are shuttles that bring you around the resort however would not recommend for limited mobility .
Would definitely return, if the price is right. Would not pay more than $5000 for a week for 2 people. This based on the limited entertainment, Absolute and Corona ran out everyday by 4pm, bottled water only available during bar hours and NO adult section at all.

Rented 2 room for our vacation. Resort grounds are nice but service is beyond horrible. Service is slow and unresponsive. There is a hanging track door that slides for the bathroom. In both rooms that door fell off the slide Waiting on maintenance to fix them. So now everything you do in the bathroom is exposed and the door is leaning against the wall in both rooms. The rooms weren’t cleaned even when we placed the clean room hanger on the door and called the front desk to complain about it twice. The resort ran out of clean towels by 7 pm. We had to wait until the next morning to get clean towels I saw a cleaning person on my floor and asked them to clean the room and was told they couldn’t do it. I called the front desk the next morning at 8 am and was told we had to wait until maintenance and cleaning staff came in at 9 am. Also out tv is broken. So now we are waiting for maintenance and house keeping to show up so we can get ready to go out. I’m wasting time in a dirty broken hotel room instead of going out and exploring this island vacation

I just left 2 days ago, and I must say I had great time staying here. The service here at Ocean Divi Little Bay was superb! The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff was amazing!! They are the warmest, most attentive and accommodating staff I've met in a while. I opted out of choosing the all-inclusive because I had plans to dine at other locations while on the island. But The rooftop bar, Bar gizmo's, Slice pizza and breakfast were all really good. The resort is on the ocean and towels and chairs are provided for the guest. They're also wheelchair friendly and will escort you via golfcart to your location with just a quick ring at front desk. They have water excursions you can sign up for and enjoy for the day. Or you can take advantage of 1 of 3 of their infinity pools they have located on the resort. I chose to do both and had a wonderful time! Wake up, enjoy views from your balcony, then take a morning dip into the ocean then head to Oceans for breakfast to get your day started. and don't forget to say hi to the Resort beautiful parrot! he flies out and greets the guests ever so often and he really pretty! Trust me you'll have amazing stay at Oceans.

After reading some of the reviews I had concerns, however I am happy to share that my fears were quickly dismissed after our first day at the resort. We stayed in an Oceans King room on the fourth floor. The view was spectacular. I had my Nespresso coffee on the balcony every morning and loved it. I found the complaints about the service to be completely inaccurate. Service was great, slow on a few occasions, but we were with friends and enjoying our time together. Service was also very friendly.
Food was very good. I am a bit of a food snob and we ate dinner on the propriety each night due to our all inclusive package. Plenty of tasty options to choose from each night. I absolutely enjoyed both the dinner at Oceans and the lunches at Gizmos and the Mexican place. The drinks were pretty good, we felt the alcohol wasn’t very strong. Bring small bills for tips. We tipped with each drink order in cash.
The weather was a bit windy on a few of our days there and any boat related activities were canceled. We stayed on the property all but one day and spent our time on the beach. The water was heavenly and the sand was gorgeous. The beach wasn’t crowded at all and you were easily able to get a chair and umbrella. The chairs were a bit worn, but did the job.
We went to the French side for lunch one day, and had a great lunch. I was not impressed with the island. It seemed very poor and worn. Wish we could have made it for a day trip to St. Barts or Anguilla.
Must mention how disappointing it was to only be allowed one towel per person. It is strictly enforced and given what you paid per night, you should be able to have two towels at least. The chairs on the beach are old and the towels would have helped.

OMG, where do i start!? the property is beautiful!!!!, the pool area at the Oceans also beautiful. the rooms were beautiful, there was a band playing real nice music had the crowd going, it was great. only thing there was someone above us that had a child running around which was very disturbing late at night. we called the front desk and they said they sent security but nothing changed. regardless the sheets and towels were super fresh and clean. the bellman would take you up to your building or the other pools, very helpful and kind. 10/10.

I’m glad we took reviewers advice to choose Oceans within the Divi resort. This building was more adult, and the room was certainly as advertised. In fact, all of the photos on the web site are accurate! On the plus side: beautiful, well maintained grounds, room decor, view from terrace, beach!, pools! Gizmos food, cocktails, chair and umbrellas! Guest behavior (no out of control or unsupervised children, loud parties). On the needs work side (and everyone seems to mention this): Housekeeping. Every single day we had to call for something blatantly missing, whether nespresso pods, soap or towels. They need a little quality checklist. The Oceans restaurant needs a quality lift. The morning buffet is great, but one dinner there (steak night - mediocre at best) was enough. We had dinner off property every other night. They are opening a really cool roof top bar on Oceans and that will probably help. We did not do all inclusive and I’m glad we didn’t given the restaurant. Still, we will definitely be back as it was generally an excellent experience on the things that mattered.

The room was spacious and well kept. I think it’s a fairly new section of the hotel. Your arm bracelet unlocks your door which was handy. The beach is amazing with beachside bar and food service. Wonderful. The pools are also awesome and again poolside service which was nice. The swim up bar is a great place to meet new people. Same with the hot tub. We only went to Gizmo’s, The Shack and Pureocean Restaurant. They were all great. The restaurant Slice also serves pizza that is absolutely delicious. They were handily located on the way back to our room. They’ll give it to you in a real pizza box so easy to carry. On the downside, we had to sign for everything which is unusual for all-inclusive. They say it’s for their inventory. They do not restock your fridge. We had 2 coke, 2 Diet Coke and 2 sprite. I guess they figure that you can get some at the restaurant but they don’t always have cans. There is shopping available right on the resort, a car rental agency and a taxi stand. Everything is handy. They are short staffed I think. One of the managers was waiting tables last night at Gizmo’s. My hat is off to him for jumping in and helping his team. A true leader. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. We are checked out now and our ride doesn’t come for 3 hours. We are still allowed to use the pool or beach but were told that the all-inclusive ends at checkout. 10:00 am. Different than any other all-inclusive that I’ve been to. Other than that, I came here to relax and have some fun in the sun. Mission accomplished!
