I was so excited about staying here, the building and location live up to the pictures, it is beautiful. But once you have got past that there are some issues... First, how can a hotel in such a beautiful and remote setting not have a restaurant!!!!!! There are no taxis, people come to Tuscany to drink wine, why would you...

Dear Sir, just after 5 months you reminded to write this review, maybe did your memories deceive you? Your review is definitely very strict, and unrealistic! There is not a restaurant in our hotel (it's well specified everywhere) but our BAR serves a good choice of food, just fresh local food. We are very sorry you didn't appreciate, and we...

Villa Campomaggio is nestled in the heart of Tuscany, about 10 minutes from the city of Radda. With small wineries surrounding the area, we spent 4 nights at this location and would do it again. The grounds have manicured lawns, wonderful views, impeccable grounds keeping and a wonderful villa. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and light dinner (a...

Picturesque hotel in historical building located in beautiful landscape in the heart of Chianti (Radda in Chianti subregion). Sitting on the terrace with a glass of Chianti wine and view over the autumn wineyards were simply divine. The double bed rooms we slept in were spacious, clean and cozy as the bathrooms were. I would like to appreciate the hospitality...

The location is stunning and the building has been beautifully restored. I can't think there are many better locations however I was SO disappointed. Even with the very latest GPS sat nav it was difficult to find. The driveway is an unmade track which really didn't suit a sports car. We had no help or offer of help with our...

Dear Guest, we are so sorry for your disappointment, we always do our best for our guests. Believe me it's the first time We hear that one of our guests don't like the Chianti Classico wine. We just propose excellent wines from our area, famous labels and high quality. We do it to make people know the excellence of our...

Fantastic hotel. Stephanie the receptionist was amazing. Maybe there should be more on the hotel menu as u have to drive everywhere. Stephanie advised us on all the local restaurants and even booked them. Lovely setting although there is a long dirt road up to the villa. lovely spa and the breakfast was also good and fresh.

Magnificent property with a very friendly staff (seems like that's almost a "given" in Italy). Great breakfast, extremely comfortable beds, everything about it was top-notch! Pool was clean and warm. Staff recommended tours, restaurants that were fantastic!

Me and my wife spent 4 nights at Villa Campomaggio on a side trip from southern Germany. We arrived late after the regular check in hours but Steffy waited for us and where accommodated right away to our beautiful room. The words cannot do justice to how beautiful the grounds are at Villa Campomaggio... Raul is doing a fenomenal job...

Beautiful surroundings, accommodation spacious and comfortable, staff were very helpful. Spa very pricy. Hotel does not have a restaurant but you can order quick meals such as pasta, clearly microwaved. Breakfast there is plenty of choice including hot buffet food. We had an enjoyable/relaxing two night stay in Chianti. We visited Raddia, small town with many bars and restaurants, worth...

The good: The buildings, grounds, terraces, and views are astounding – easily one of the most beautiful locations we’ve seen in Tuscany. There are many places to relax and unwind including the pool, hammocks, multiple covered and open terraces, and gardens. Access to the spa area is free, which is something we used almost every day and is beautifully designed....

Dear Sir, We sincerely believe that all your criticisms are very subjective. As you wrote the temperature here was 25°, a good temperature in October, and for us it's a right temperature, as well as in spring, which does not require air conditioning. Here in the countryside it's nice to enjoy natural and fresh air, it's really a shame that...
