Just back from one week vacation at Kinetta beach resort and spa. We booked our flights with Air Transat, long flight, but the service was good. The resort one hour away from Athens airport, the bus was new and comfortable.

Our experience at this hotel was great.Good food but could have a bit more variety but lots of tasty food on the buffets. The rooms were very clean, fresh towels daily and the cleaning staff couldn't do enough for us. The management and staff were...More
Kinetta still owes us money for days we didn’t stay there – we didn’t stay there because TWO DAYS before we were scheduled to go there, Kinetta tells us that they no longer have a room for us to stay in. We had booked our...More
The concept of an all inclusive in Greece on the beach with a direct flight via Air Transat helped make our decision.

We were there in May and it was too cool to swim, even by our Canadian standards! I think October would be like that, too cool to swim. But we did enjoy travelling here and there, between Athens, Kinetta Beach and Corinth. We walked a lot, sightseeing and I think that would be uncomfortable in the heat of a hot summer. We also were able to enjoy sidewalk cafes in Athens and Corinth. Hope this helps! You can look at my full story about our trip to Kinetta Beach at my blog at "Kiss the ground you walk on".

There are daily excursions from the resort. I'm not sure if this was only during the summer months. I would advise you to call ahead to see if they are still running and also to find out about fishing.
Enjoy the beach!

The Anna II is a cruiseboat which leaves from the little dock on the beach in front of the Kinetta Beach Resort. The Anna II is about 30 metres long and can carry 90, or 100 passengers. My wife Nancy and I sailed aboard the Anna II from Kinetta Beach to the Corinth canal, through the canal and then back to Kinetta. It took from about 3 p.m., to 7 p.m., and we got our tickets with the excellent help of Air Transat representative Giannis Panou at Kinetta Beach Resort. We enjoyed the trip back and forth through the canal because the canal is quite an awesome project. From Kinetta to the entrance to the canal, we watched large freighters at anchor waiting their turn to traverse the canal. We did not take a land excursion to Corinth with other people. However, we did take the high-speed train from Kinetta train station to Corinth. At Corinth, we hired a taxi (20 euros) to take us to some places at the top of the canal, stop and wait for us while we took photos and looked at shops. The cabbie was Anastasia Roussis, who lives in Corinth and runs the cab service with her husband. She was an excellent help. She dropped us off at the waterfront, downtown Corinth and we walked around for a couple of hours enjoying shopping, a lunch and the waterfront. Later we took a different cab back to the Corinth train station....about three euros for that short trip. Corinth is beautiful with many sidewalk restaurants on the pedestrian mall there.
