We can back to one of our favourite haunts in this part of Cornwall and were not dissatisfied. Whether you are just popping in for a drink or want to eat, the staff are always very friendly. Good food at reasonable prices and the view is worthy of repeated visits.

We found this pub in the Good Pub Guide & had dinner here. The food was delicious. There were plenty of locals at the bar & the dining area is very pleasant. It is popular so booking is advised but the landlord happily accommodated us at 20 mins notice. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, was fully booked up for food, however staff were very accommodating and we got a table for a quick bite and drink. Very good value and super food. Dog friendly!!! Would return, pub has a great atmosphere and good beer! Lovely traditional style pub with contemporary feel.

A local pup in a village close to the river. The food here is very tasty and is served by pleasant and friendly staff. The menu was varied with plenty of choice. The car parking is limited, but the pub is visited by lots of cyclists and walkers, as it is at the finishing point of the Devoran to Portreath...

The food here is really tasty, there is a good selection of fresh seafood. We cycled here. They were very friendly. I recommend the parfait. There was also a doggy. The garden was higgelty piggledy and offered both and shade. I recommend the mussels plus my mate had mackerel which is really Cornish.

Early meal required with dog and the pub came good. Great selection on offer and some good local brews on tap. Lovely smoked mackerel pate for starters as well as a good menu for kids and all the usual favourites including fish and chips, but some twists on the classics like duck leg and chips! Lovely puds with lots to...

We stayed here for 1 night and would not ever stay again. The room had the worst curtains I have ever seen, strange solid foam pillows, a couple of tea bags stuffed in an old cup and no milk. The toilet seat was actually shredded, the bath was chipped and the shower curtain hanging off until I fixed it. The...

Enjoyable walking area and pub of this quality most welcome for a drink and lunch. Very homely feel to pub and lots of choice on food front. Good quality and good portions. Decent wifi, newspapers and books for adults and children's books. Place is also dog friendly so you can sit inside with your dog to eat. Well worth a...

On a sunny day don't expect to find parking close by - but well worth the walk. Regular Lunch menu limited but the specials give a wider choice to suit most tastes. Table service top quality -- enough attention without interrupting. Good for under children. After lunch pleasant walk to the point.

We stayed in the pub for a couple of days visiting friends. Very friendly hosts, food and service very good as well. The location is good, but the bed was outstanding. The breakfast was as good as the bed.
