I'd highly recommend this masseria. The rooms are cozy and come with very comfy beds. The staff is kind and attentive. They serve a generous and varied breakfast that includes some delicious Apulian local products. It is surrounded by beautiful vineyards where you can stroll at sunset time.

Special mention to Noemi who could not have done more to make our stay wonderful. A private venu with beautiful rooms and wooden lodges. Only small downside was the pool was not available due to renovation ...however the staff put sunbeds up for us in the garden and really looked after us. Situated in a vinyard wine tasting is available with dinner

Secluded, private and a bit out of the way but so lovely

I have to say that our sojourn at the Tenuta del Barco, is a highlight of our holidays in Puglia. After having been there in the beginning of August of this year, we decided to go back again on the second decade of September (20/09/14). The Agriturismo is situated only a couple of kilometers from a beautiful coastline with a colourfully inviting and crystal clear water sea. You can reach it by foot along a farm road or with mountain bikes offered by the Agriturismo. We went swimming a lot, the water was fantastic! And the climate is still like August, around 30°C which is typical for that region in September. The Agriturismo is very well situated and the hospitality and attention of Nic, the owner, is impeccable. The first time we stayed in one of the bungalows in the pine wood, the second in one of the restored apartments in the old Masseria. Both places are very good: one is amongst nature, the other you experience the relaxing atmosphere of an elegant old farm house of the region. Both rooms are comfortable, with bathrooms, being more spacious the one in the old farm house. This has also a cooking area and small fridge to keep the excellent wines of the Masseria cool. Nic was very kind to show us the farm’s wine cantina and we tasted the high quality white and red wines. The food is excellent and the service at the table also.
The place has a nice soccer/tennis pitch and we played football with the kids. That was fun.
The efficiency and the hospitality of Antonio, Silvia and the staff in general is very welcoming. We recommend whoever is looking for a relaxing combination of farm and sea, Tenuta del Barco is certainly the right place to be! We will certainly go back again.

We had booked a stay here for three nights through a travel agent.

While the location is very nice and it’s close to the beach, the chalets look “tired” but clean, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is not cosy at all. The food is okayish but not special, the same applies to the breakfast buffet.

The coffee was excellent.

We also learned that the pool closes mid- September, something we were not aware of.

The complementary wine tasting by (the owner) Nick was really nice.

This place was much more "rustic" than we expected. No phone, no television, spartan furnishings were ok, but no hot water and no drinking water were too much. 150 Euros a night is a lot to spend to brush your teeth with (expensive) bottled water. Rather than being "a few hundred meters" from the beach as the website claims, the beach it actually more than 2 kms away. The address in Marina di Pulsano is deceptive. The restaurant was fine, although dinner there was the most expensive meal we had in a week in Puglia. The real scam is that the hotel makes you pre-pay for the entire stay (50% at time of booking and 50% 30 days before arrival). There is NO possibility of getting your money back if you do not like it. In the end we decided to leave after one night and throw away about 600 Euros rather than ruin our vacation. Consider carefully whether you want to take a risk before you book at this place.

Perhaps the fact that we were there in off season reflected in our stay. Who knows. The place had a tired worn out feeling with many areas badly needing maintenance and attention. While I recognize that the theme is farm house, it is no excuse to not provide nice decor. New bed covers are needed. The shower needed upgrading. Some decent bathroom amenities would be nice. The staff was both nice and short at the same time. Not really one of my favorite stops.

We, two couples arrived here around noon and were able to check in for a two night stay. Although room rates were the same, one couple had a studio, while the couple had a separate living room and bedroom. You may want to clarify your room. The restaraunt was closed on Mondays, our first night, so we ate a picnic supper in the courtyard. We ate dinner the next night at the hotel restarant which was good. Breakfast was included rack morning and was good. The hotel is family run. The grandmother was in the room next to ours and had family visitors throughout our stay. The room is very simple, shower very tiny. The location is beautiful, amidst fields and vineyard. We had lunch and tour of the Emery vineyard next door and it was one of the highlights of our vacation.

We were restless to go back again for a six day break at the Tenuta del Barco after not having come back for a couple of summers, so we returned on the first week of September 2017. The Agriturismo is as always very well kept, breakfast is top quality and the evening meal outside on the old farm courtyard, adorned with elegant lighting, excellent food and good wine just made our days. We stayed in one of the comfortable wooden huts in the pine wood, and it was relaxing to hear the wind blow mildly through the trees during the night. The room and bathroom were clean and well kept. The room has air conditioner, and the bathroom a blow heater for colder days. The room has also a TV. The shower is spacious with several water exits.
The beach with it's facilities (well organized bar for snacks and lunches, and comfortable sunbeds on the beach) and the beautiful crystal clear sea are just what we desired for a relaxing holiday! The kind courtesy of Nicola, Antonio and Silvia are always very wellcoming because they made us feel back home again..! We will return, hopefully next summer!

We were desperate to get out of our accommodations in Leporano Marina and got to spend merely 2 days there in the cabins (all that was left at the last minute) they were clean. I was very pleased to find that the products in the bathroom were environmentally friendly. We felt safe, the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It left us with a much better opinion of the area, we just chose wrongly to start with at our former 'apartamento'. The restaurant was nice, breakfast could be improved upon with hot food. The private beach was a long walk in the heat from the parking lot, good food and service there. The grounds were lovely.

We spent one week in this hotel. The location is good for those who has a car because nearby you can not find nothing, not a small shop. But you can have a beautiful walk for 40 minutes to the beach. By the way, the beach is very good and not expensive. The territory of the hotel is very nice, green, full of flowers and trees. The staff is nice friendly and try to do everything you need. But .. the stuff can not do nothing with terrible internet and mosquitoes. Better to say that the hotel doesn’t have internet at all. Breakfast is quite good with big selection of cakes, fruit, and so. You can order good coffee and if you want also hot dish as omelet. Tenuta includes also the restaurant for dinner and vinoteca for tasting and buying wines. The restaurant is very expensive and with very strange kitchen what means that is better to go for dinner to another place. Selection of wines in the vinoteca is good but the staff seems to be sleeping all day long.
For make the hotel better and even luxury they can do some things...repair the pool, do something against mosquitoes, buy normal internet and some routers, and change the chef of the restaurant.

Non ha una spiaggia privata ma un lido convenzionato e Cmq è a circa 3/4 km dal mare. È Cmq resto della convinzione che il costo della struttura non vale la struttura stessa. Ciao
