We had an amazing time in such a special and relaxing place...wonderful service, great food and what a view. It is great value and extremily quiet, the perfect place if you are looking for somewhere to relax. We will be back, Alex

The most charming and enchanted place surrounded by the magic chestnut trees typical of the area. Great attention to details and care for the guests. Authentic beauty, off the beaten track. A visit for a fantastic (and reasonably priced) lunch overlooking the hills or a couple of night stay in the nice rooms (decorated with period furniture) must not be...

First, some comments that might make things easier for travellers considering this getaway: Communication regarding lunch and dinner was not clear when booking. Meals apparently have to be booked ahead of time, or one has to eat off the farm at nearby village restaurants (La Vetta, owned by a friend of our host, has great pizza). We were completely alone...

Four days spent in June 2016 in a great garden under old famous chestnut, hazelnut and olive trees and famous hospitality of Silvio 'recharged our batteries' to full power. You can understand all of that only when you are there personally. I am sure you will taste mails you even never imagined you can eat. Do not hesitate and try!!!...

We returned to Calvanico with some friends (it was their first time) for our summer holiday... what a welcome we received! It appears that the lovely Paola and Silvio are taking more of a back seat and their daughter Carla is now in charge on a day to day basis. She couldn't be more helpful or enthusiastic, so much so...

I have been staying in Casale Piè d'Eco for 2 days, and it was a very good experience. The agriturismo itself is very pretty and cozy, with attention to details and good taste for the interior. All around the Casale there are plenty of fruit trees and farm animals, like horses and sheeps. The surrounding area is a good mix...

I was in Calvanico for 1 week volunteering at a local farm and came across Casale Pie d'Eco while i was exploring the area. The entire estate is absolutely beautiful and you could really spend hours walking around and enjoying the scenery. When I got to the hotel, I was greeted by Carla and she immediately offered me complementary wine...

We booked Casale Pie d'Eco for a 6 day stay for our first trip to the region primarily on the basis of good revues and the fact that it wasn't a huge concern. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and part of the family. The owners, Silvio and Paola together with their daughter Carla, couldn't do...

An evening meal orchestrated by Silvio full of culinary delights in the interesting setting of the family chapel, Bible by the entrance. Firstly, the approach to the inn through chestnut and hazelnut groves is stunning followed by the warmth of the welcome that matches it. Have you ever eaten calves'spleen before? We have now; it was cooked with mint. Varied...

We had dinner at Pie' d'Eco on the last evening of our stay in Calvanico. It was an inspired choice. The property is situated within chestnut woods and enjoys fantastic views over the surrounding valley; it is well worth going for a walk in the morning (half an hour's walk from Calvanico village) or arriving for your meal before it...
