Staff was friendly. Room was not so good. Loose outlet, only one trash can, walls w/ black handprints and scratches. All the floors were sticky. The sink was sticky too. YUK! All the bedding had black lint on it. TV had handprints on it. Mirror was filthy( staff did provide Windex and tissues, after we asked for ) Continental breakfast was ok( included toast, mini muffins, Banannas, cereal, milk. The coffee maker was broken. ) I must say we expected eggs and meat with the breakfast. Also, the pix and descriptions on their website are 'less than accurate.'

Hi, you seem to have the wrong place. We don't offer a continental breakfast, none of our outlets are loose. Our floors are carpeted and we would never let a guest clean their own TV or mirror. There are many Falls Inns. But this does not describe us. All the best.

We heard this place had a nice brunch from relatives who ate here , so we booked a Sunday morning seating and arrived a tad early, even though we were early we were met with a smile and seated immediately, we had a very nice waitress, 2 were working, and the other one was always smiling, the buffet is rather small but was well looked after, hot, and very filling, we have been here before on a bike ride, but just never eaten here, the price for the buffet is ok, but being charges what must have been coffees seems odd as it is a buffet, or was it another fee? Not sure as bill only showed total. overall we left very full and satisfied, great view and sights, check this place out if ever close by, cheers

I know that alot of nitpickers review places and find everything wrong. I am not this person and this will be the first review. On Father's Day, I was given a gift certificate to enjoy Father's day brunch. We made previous reservations for 1130 am which both business and us agreed for a suitable brunch time. We arrived at 1120am. We were guided to our table and asked if we would like a momosa to which my wife said yes. As we were shown to the buffet area, we saw that virtually everything was gone and stations (omelet) were vacant. My wife was hungry and took a cinnamon bun and a tart as staff told us it would be filled soon. We waited 20 minutes and not a minute sooner until the waitress apologized and said there was someone who could make you an omelet while you wait. We went and stood there for awhile. Not only did no one show up, the female owner came to us to explain they were short staffed and her husband took the day off for Father's day, as we should understand. After almost 30 minutes with still nothing refilled , I pulled the plug. My Father's Day ruined. I went to the truck disgusted, and my wife settled up. MY WIFE WAS CHARGED ALMOST 50$ for a cinnamon bun and a momosa, to which my wife questioned this only to hear a response by the owner "Well! You ate! I have to charge you! I stayed out of it as she paid and left with a memory of the WORST FATHERS DAY. Many of you who may know me, know it doesn't take much to please me, but I refused to be ripped off, which we allowed in this instance. #2: We attended a wedding on Thanksgiving Sunday at the inn. While we were at the reception , there was a very loud and obnoxious guest who was yelling and causing problems. He was also a big person like me. When I went to the bar, the bartender immediately wanted to cut me off and nastily began to accuse me of this other guys actions without checking first or even walking over to confirm who it was. Her only reason was because I was big like him. Inappropriate and discriminatory was what our table of 8 agreed as they witnessed as well. As a person who managed and worked in the busiest bar restaurants in Ontario FOR DECADES, the required training was not evident here. In closing, I really felt the need to inform others. We will never return. This is the first and hopefully the last time I ever have to say this. But, in this instance, YOU EARNED IT, sadly. There are many other outstanding venues while visiting this area.

Hi Steve, Yes, you did join us for our Father's Day brunch and yes you did arrive at the time that we were in the midst of a refresh. I did speak to you and offered to make you a hot fresh omelette of your choice while you waited, and you turned me down. We did fully restock, but you wanted to leave. We didn't charge you. However, your wife did eat, more then you indicated, and was charged. She was billed $32 for the brunch, plus a mimosa and your coffee with tax. I am sorry this brunch experience runed your Father's Day. Everyone in the industry is experiencing shortages right now. As for the wedding, yes, we were in the very unfortunate position to have to cut off a very loud and obnoxious guest and for that, we truly agree. Based on our camera behind the bar, your story of these events is just untrue. You came to the bar right after this man was escorted out of the room for a second time and you request a few different drinks....one being the drink the loud obnoxious guest just ordered. Our Smart Serve due diligence requires us to ensure you were not buying drinks for that guest as other guests seated with him were trying to do. You were asked multiple times and dodged the question raising further suspicions. You did finally answer to our bartender's satisfaction - that you weren't buying for this guest - and she did, in fact, serve you. This had nothing to do with anyone's appearance, just the timing. It is unfortunate that you drew this conclusion as that wasn't the case. And it's really surprising, if you've worked in the busiest bars and restaurants in Ontario FOR DECADES, that your unclear on how Smart Serve works or would pile on to a venue that had a difficult night while trying to keep the drama from effecting the couple we all came out to celebrate. Take good care Steve

Beware these innkeepers have jumped on the slope of sleaze and now punish their guests with a DESTINATION FEE of 3% at checkout ! Aside from that a beautiful property in a beautiful surrounding with the adjacent Falls . The restaurant is moderately priced , again with stellar views

We are booked at the Inn for July 20 and 21, but have not been able to reach them on the phone nor by email for a week now. Unless there is some technical reason this is the case, it does not seem like the service at the front desk is reliable. We shall see if we hear back from them before heading up there. I hope so!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at the Falls Inn. Room clean and comfortable and the restaurant had a great variety of food on the menu. The only downside to our stay was that our room had not been made up for the Saturday stay. Not sure if it was just overlooked or if it is not included with a 2 night stay.

Last July 2 friends and myself made the drive to Walters Falls from Collingwood It is a beautiful drive over rolling hills and lovely scenery, particularly coming back. We wanted a pretty place for lunch and the restaurant did not disappoint. The service was excellent with good suggestions. We all chose the seafood crepes which were amazing. We are looking forward to visiting again next summer.

The staff were so friendly and so helpful. The food was excellent and never had a complaint about anything...portions were large!! Can't wait to go back again in the spring.! Thank you to Kathy, Jane and Meg......a job very well done1 Daryl & Judy Verge

We stopped for one night on our way to Tobermory and it was a wonderful stay. A beautiful hotel and the small size makes it feel you are getting personal attention, and the front desk staff were warm and friendly. The waterfall view from the room was wonderful. We had the TravelZoo deal with the food credit included (note for other travelers – although the voucher says “Daily hot breakfast for two” it is only a $6 credit towards breakfast and it is not included). The food was good, the view was great. It was raining on the 2 days that we were there so I did not get to experience the hiking trails or amenities and I will definitely be back to try them. I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet stay.

Hi, thank you for the kind review. Just to clarify, the Travelzoo sales page says 'Daily hot breakfast for 2, upgrades offered a $12 value'. The confirmation email at booking says 'Daily hot breakfast included, upgrades offered'. This message is repeated again on your arrival email sent 24 hours before arrival. Only the printed voucher itself was a vague as the line you provided above. We have had they add the 'upgrades offered' clarification on the newest offer, but in all other listings, the message was clear. The first 2 items on our menu, Apple, Maple Berry French Toast and Seasonal Fruit plate with grilled cinnamon toast are both $6 each and can be covered fully by your credit making them the 2 included hot items available in your package. The additional items (Eggs Bennies, Omelets, Smoked Salmon, Canadian Break fast etc) are $12 items that are half price once your voucher credit is applied. I hope this clears up that everything is correct in the listing and was offered as promoted during your stay. All the best.

We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately it was too hot to hike, but we enjoyed the beautiful grounds, excellent food, evening visits around the outdoor fireplace, and the very friendly staff. We didn't take advantage of the hottub this time - next summer!
