Fabulous , beautiful island .. my husband and I were there for 10 glorious days staying in a beautiful beach villa with pool . We had come this far south for Brian to try the diving sites . Met by Zachariah , our great butler,as we got off the boat on a rainy cloudy morning , he greeted us by name , which I liked ,( even though there were other people ) and wizzed us around in the buggy showing us all the restaurants , spa, diving site and everything else the island offered .. the most beautiful villa .. with the best beach view on the island . From that afternoon we had nothing but glorious sunshine . We rode bikes around the island which we loved .Every meal we had , every buffet, was the best we have had. We had lots of spa treatments , again the best we have ever had , staff were so nice . Brian was unable to dive ,ear problems, had the best treatment from the on-site doctor , so we will have to return but the swimming with amazing nurse sharks and fishing trips nobody should miss, fabulous, the dive crew lads were all great fun. So special thanks to Zak for looking after us and special thanks to Rasi and all the staff in the Magu buffet who could not do enough for us .…
We are not used to posting reviews on hotels we visit, however, Ayada was out of this world! We spent 12 days there, half of the stay in two beach villas and the other half in ocean water villas. This worked perfectly for us, as we really enjoy having the beach 5 meters away from our room, but we also really enjoyed having our villas on the water and having the ocean view. Both options are just great with their own advantages. Both offer a lot of privacy, lot of room as well, great sized pool,… Ayada also has perfect food, beautiful house reef, great dive center, outstanding service, great rooms, very cool activities, such as a fire show two nights a week. As divers, we would like to point out that the diving centre is great, divers are very cool and professional, and the dives offered are very cool. As snorkelers, same thing, we really enjoyed the house reef. You reach the reef in literally one to two minutes from the beach, and same from the ocean villas. The corals are pretty healthy, and there are millions of fishes, plenty of different species, turtles, rays, reef sharks, octopus, lobster,… We saw dolphins from our water villa deck as well. You will not be disappointed. In the diamond all inclusive, a snorkeling trip to a close island was provided, and this was really really amazing. You get on a 5 minutes boat ride and reach this beautiful reef. Different from the reef at Ayada, but at least as beautiful, with plenty of clown fishes to admire and many other species of course. There was also a massage included at Ayspa in the diamond, and it was a blast. The women at the spa will make you feel very good, they know their job well and the spa is beautiful. Now regarding the food, I would like to point out that if you have special dietary requirements, Ayada will be your best choice. My sister is coeliac, and the chefs really went out of their way to make her experience incredible. The took so much care of her, they knew exactly what they needed to do, they knew everything about cross contamination,,… If you’re coeliac or know a celiac person, you know how hard it is to find great food, and especially SAFE food, but Ayada makes it possible, super easy, very safe and super tasty. They provided everything she dreamt of, sushis, dim sum, pasta, pizza, burgers, fried shrimps, rice, noodles,… It was so so amazing for us to know that she was taken care of so well. As mentioned, we had the diamond all inclusive, and it worked perfectly for us, no regret at all. The restaurants are perfect, everything tasted amazing, the choice of dishes is super large. The chefs are very qualified, super friendly, they want you to really enjoy your food, at ocean breeze, they even offered us an entire jack fish on our last night, that the employees had caught themselves and it was delicious. We celebrated two birthdays while at Ayada too, and again, never disappointed. They decorated the rooms and made delicious birthday cakes (gluten free). Chef John at Kai restaurant made the two birthday dinners just memorable. The buffet in the morning was great, fresh juices station, croissants, homemade bread, eggs, fresh fruits, … thank you again to the chef for the special traitement to my sister!! Basically, thank you to everyone at Ayada!! The chefs, the waiters (“Officer”, Nasih, Ali, and all the others), our butler Shahin, who made sure everything was as perfect as it could be for us in terms of organisation and program as well as comfort, the room makers, the manager who always took the time to walk around the hotel and ask if everything was fine, the gardeners, and everybody that I might have forgotten… It really was an immense pleasure to stay there. Talking about the way to Ayada, it really did not bother us. Yes it takes time, but we were warned and don’t regret the journey. Having previously been to Lilly beach, closer to Male, comparing the two let us realize it takes time anyways from male to the hotel. The only thing is that to go to Ayada you have 2 steps instead of just the water plane/boat : a domestic flight + boat. The hotel makes it easy for you, as staff takes care of you at every step, starting when you land at Male airport, until you reach the hotel. We landed in the morning in Male, waited for two hours there, got on a domestic flight for one hour and then had a one hour boat. For the return we left Ayada in the afternoon, only had a 20 minutes boat journey to a domestic airport, then a one hour flight to male where we could take our international flight. To conclude, we really really really enjoyed our stay, and 100% recommend Ayada. We hope we will be back soon! Thank you so much Ayada!!…
It was my first visit to the Maldives. I thought about it for 3 months and searched many resorts in Maldives Looking at the reviews of many Koreans visiting the resort, I got to know Ayada Resort, chose Ayada, and I kept thinking that it was a good choice until I arrived. But it was a waste of time that I was thinking about it. We arrived at the resort late at night. It was so beautiful even though I couldn't see well. Staff in the Maldives Ayada did their best to make everyone happy, from visitors to children to adults. I was happy all the time and even though it took more than 20 hours from Korea to Maldives Ayada, I thought I wanted to go again. It was difficult for us to communicate in English, but Shaheen Butler did his best for us. I was so thankful. I'm planning to go there again next year. So if there is one thing I want, it would be great if there is a manager who can speak Korean. I think it would be great if there was a Korean manager because Korean tourists in Maldives Ayada are constantly visiting. And all the four restaurants I ate here were delicious. The points in every restaurant made it fun day by day by day. I gained so much weight in a few days in Maldives Ayada. I really want to go to the Ayada Maldives again. thank you…
This was the most amazing experience! Loved the hospitality and friendly service. Food was great and the weather in January was incredible. The journey might be long but the experiment is absolutely worth it! Thanks TJ Zak and the team for their lovely help throughout
We stayed in Ayada to celebrate a late honeymoon after Covid. The stay perfect, we felt very looked after, every request was met with above and beyond service. At arrival we were met by a representative and taken to a lounge. We stayed in the Sunset Beach Suite, which we loved, snorkelling areas were great here, as well as the Sunset Ocean Suite with private pool. The food did not disappoint, our favourite was Kai Restaurant. The buffet selection was one of the best we have seen, the juice bar was great. Zero Degree for lunch was lovely too. The spa was amazing and we left feeling so refreshed. The excursions were unforgettable, we managed to spot some sharks whilst on our fishing trip. The snorkelling was so fun. The daily schedule of activities ensures you are never bored and there are plenty of activities, we really enjoyed the carnival! Overall, I think what really makes this resort special, apart from the perfect white beaches, the delicious food and clean, spacious facilities, is the service, special thanks to Zeeshan who ensured we were looked after! One thing I would say, is the resort can get quite busy closer to the day of Christmas.…
Saeed was so helpful he went above in beyond for u he accommodated us so we can be comfortable while we waited for our plane, our butler Ronaldo was so great to us as well, the resort was amazing and beautiful we stay at the sunset villa and it was always so clean and the people where nice. Zeeshan was very good assistant i go to many hotel more than 5* like max royal, d maris four seasons hotel. But we never see like Zeeshan after we are at home he was carry on us! Every day whatsapp us for that we need something! When i come next year is the reason that Zeeshan make our very welcome in Maldives
My family and I were blessed to spend one week on this gorgeous island pampered by the world-class service of the staff at Ayada Maldives. As soon as you land at Malé international airport, you are greeted and assisted by extremely kind and helpful staff members, taking you the lounge as you wait for the domestic flight, followed by a comfortable boat transfer. Check-in at the resort could not be any smoother, as your butler takes you for a tour of the island and then directly to your villa - many thanks to Rolando who gently supported us for the entire duration of our stay. All food and beverage options are excellent - once again, thank you and congratulations to Jean. We particularly enjoyed having lunch overwater at Ocean Breeze (special mention to Sean, our extremely friendly and accommodating waiter), as well as the daily changing dinner themes at Magu. Life at Ayada is idyllic, and it is made even more special by the fantastic house-keeping staff taking care of your every need (shout-out to Saeed and Lakmal, the Master of towel sculptures!). One final note for AySpa, the mesmerising SPA nestled in the lush island forest where you can indulge for a moment of pure relaxation or a special treatment thanks to the lovely staff - the JetLeg massage upon your arrival is an experience not to be missed! We have so many incredible memories from our time at Ayada Maldives that we will treasure forever.…
Good. The Honimoon event was good and there was a resort event, so I went back to my busy schedule every day. The stormy sea villa was a little scary, but the clear night sky after the rain was really beautiful and special.
My husband and I came for a relaxing honeymoon vacation and in turn came back awe inspired, grateful and privileged to have spent it at Ayada. A huge huge contributing factor were some of the key people we interacted with that made us feel so special and demonstrated exceptional service: Zeeshan - thank you for welcoming us and showing us the ropes of the place! You were always available when we needed you and answered all our key questions. Our favourite moment was you taking pictures of us - it’s hard to always take selfies as a couple on a trip but you helped us create everlasting memories so thank you for that and your kindness throughout our time. Executive Chef John - Thank you for creating an incredible list of options at your restaurants that can accommodates so many different types of people’s food preferences. It’s what makes Ayada so special! Thank you for caring about our dietary needs. We will never forget your appreciation and humbleness while interacting with us. Chef Shuhaam - You truly made our trip feeding us and spoiling us with such incredible food!!!! Where do we even begin?? We have such a special place for all the food you gave us with so much love. Everyday was so incredibly amazing and because we’re such foodies you and the rest of the chefs that contributed to it really made the trip so worth it! Chef Bhuddika - Thank you for always going out of the way for giving us the best eggless croissants we’ve had!!! You are so talented. 100% would come back to Ayada for that and the chocolate cake! Thank you for your humbleness and going out your way to interact with us. We very much appreciated it! Others we would love to thank are chef Roma for giving us such yummy fruits and the fun conversations. Chef Sajoi for checking in our our dietary needs and interacting with us during (thanks for making sure we eat our veggies!) Lalith who did an excellent job cleaning and making our villa so nice and tidy everyday. Thank you for the hospitality Samaah at Zero degree and Kai and telling us the best mocktails to get! Also thank you for teaching us about Maldives Sajid and Nata at dive kingdom! We learned a lot during our time. Overall, as you can see we highly recommend a stay at Ayada! The additional flight and speedboat ride are worth the views. There is so much you can do - we loved biking around, going to the spa, and snorkelling (since we stayed at the ocean villa it was so so easy to swim in your “backyard”). Truly a beautiful place with beautiful kind people. …
