The Nateby Inn is a very pleasant little pub set in splendid scenery in the village of Nateby close to Kirkby Stephen. Nice rooms clean spacious Food was nice and reasonably priced Views from the bedroom and beer garden are fantastic. The place was lovely and quiet and surrounding are lovely rolling hills. There's some nice walks around the area and even managed to find a ruined castle about 20 minutes walk away Staff were very friendly Will definately be going back

We enjoyed our night at The Nateby Inn. All the staff were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and the facilities good. We had an evening meal and breakfast there. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Would stay there again.

We have just returned from a lovely 2 night stay, the staff are lovely and could not have been more helpful and friendly. However if the Inn , our room the lights over the dressing table didn't work, bathroom mirror light didn't work, toilet roll holder away from the floor and falling off, some towels not replaced, second night ,...

Weekend stay in April. Superb location with stunning views..loads of level walks on riverbank and old railway lines. Staff very good and nothing too much trouble. Premises clean, room 5 very comfy but would benefit from darker curtains due to sunlight at 5.30. Sadly our stay was spoiled by the over priced and poor quality of evening meal. Menu states handcut...

We stayed overnight after visiting Penrith and were looked after very well by the staff. The Inn is very dog friendly and our dog was given her own breakfast by the staff before we left. The food was good and plentiful. The en-suite double room was small but adequate. We would certainly return for a future visit.

Stayed in February meeting up with family. This is a nice pub in a village location that is lit up by a star of a manager, Hannah, and serves food that is great value and delicious. The rooms are, erm, cosy, but very comfortable and clean. Good quality linen and a good bed. We genuinely couldn't fault the food. The...

We had stayed at the Nateby Inn previously, approx 8 years ago, and in fact stayed for a whole week. We enjoyed our stay and therefore were more than happy to return. We were not disappointed, the welcome was wonderful, the bedroom and bedding lovely and the food excellent. We will go again am sure.
