Acamaya is for families, couples, and travellers who want a more laid-back, quiet experience. Biking around is a great way to explore and the ocean is steps away from your cabaña! You can also camp on the beach!

If you read the reviews and take a look at the photos posted you will have a very good idea of what this place is all about. My wife and I have travelled to Mexico a number of times now and never choose all inclusive resorts (just not worth the $, we don't drink, and don't eat that much and...

Everything is very old and very used and looking quite bad. They could easily fix many things or just buy new stuff. The blankets were looking so horrible. The location is quite good tho.. but not worth the price.

perched between two all inclusive resorts, this is puerto morelos as it used to be. right on the beach, cute cabanas, bar, incredible snorkeling, massages...we felt as if we had stumbled on the perfect retreat. low key but clean and safe. daisy was a great host. we will go back!!!

We stayed here one night in January as it's only 20 minutes drive from the airport, and we wanted to still be beachside, but are not keen on the large towns that are teeming with tourists. Having read the mixed reviews yes I can see where some of the travellers are coming from, if you have a romantic 'boutique' idea...

We found this place online and the price was right for the last couple nights of our trip. After a minor issue with the first room the lady who owned the place was very accommodating and moved us to an upstairs room with shower and toilet. Some rooms use a community shower area. Place was literally right on the beach....

The door to our room (room # 7) could have very easily been broken into. Small hotel on the beach. It was clean and staff was pleasant. A good value for the price, however we won't go back because of the security.

If you're resort shopping or hotel high end then not for you. It's like camping on the beach but with your bed and bathroom. I've travelled all over South America and a good part of Mexico, I'm happy with clean bed, room, hot shower and bathroom. That's what you get here. It is next to a large resort and the...

I advise people to stay away from this place. The owner is a horrible woman who only cares about your money. She will not do anything to correct a reservation error and will not allow you to cancel without paying 2 nights. My accommodation was not as advertised. It did not have a king bed, mosquito net, fan, nor did...

My husband and I stayed in the Yucatan for 14 days, staying in various places, Akumal, Tulum, Bacalar, Valladolid, and Cancun proper. We stayed in all types of accommodations, including one in the woods, accessible only by a dirt road. I'm not a princess and have backpacked in many parts of Central and South America. Getting a few bug bites...
