I and my family have stayed at El Moro on four different occasions in the past three years. It is a clean, comfortable, well located hotel. The staff is always nice. However, with each stay the quality of the accommodations and service has gotten worse. My room this visit (July 27) was on the third floor in the rear of... More

Dear Larry W: This is to sincerely apologize for the bad experience that you had at Hotel El Moro during your vacation. All the described faults in our service seem out of character but unfortunately they occurred. I had investigated the reasons for these problems and discovered our lack of training of recently hired assistants and chauffeur. Those are not... More

Friendly staff, spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and ac. Breakfast with coffee, juice, toast and fruit included. Located in a calm street close to town square, restaurants and the beach! A small pool if you don't feel like going to the beach! Very pricey!

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was quiet and quaint and wasn't a lot of loud rowdy people. If you needed anything they didn't hesitate to help. The wifi worked pretty well on the third floor as well as the A/C. We opted to pay for a bigger breakfast and it was awesome. The local restaurants were very good and... More

Our family of five stayed here for four nights. Our room had nice AC, nice balcony, daily thorough cleaning, refrigerator. The rooms are spacious with simple, hacienda-style decorations. The place is very well cared for with a lovely roof deck. We would certainly come back.

I just returned from a four-night stay at this quaint little Inn in the laid-back fishing village of Puerto Morelos. The hotel is conveniently located just off the village square and within walking distance of restaurants, stores, the beach and the pier. The staff was pleasant and helpful although there was a minor language issue from time-to-time. The room was... More

We are not Cancun fans, so we do our best to get out of the hustle and bustle of the "zone" as soon as possilbe. Puerto Morelos is a great option for lodgin in the Cancun area. A small little town not over-developed, but with all the serviced you might need, including a lovely beach and a few nice restaurants.... More

Found this hotel in Puerto Morelos and it has a great location. Close to town square and all the restaurants as well as the beach. But the best part is thus staff. They are really nice and will try anything to accommodate you. The restaurant there was great and the food was yummy.

I've stayed in several hotels in PM but this is my favorite. Parking can be an issue. They have no dedicated parking area and face the main avenue. If you get lucky you get a space close by. Another small issue, the WIFI doesn't work in many rooms, even though they recently upgraded it. I would definitely stay here again,... More
