My girlfriend and I stayed at Le Miroir a fortnight ago, for a couple of nights, having very handily flown into Bergerac (a mere ten minutes away).
We chose this B&B, to begin our holiday, having read reviews online and these could not have been more accurate - this is an absolutely wonderful place to stay!
Our room was spacious, immaculately presented and had a lovely, private, outdoor patio area adjoining. The en-suite bathroom was equally superb, featuring a walk-in shower at one end and overall, continuing the superb presentation and cleanliness of the whole establishment.
There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding area and the private spa facilities (which we were fortunate to be able to book on our first night) provided an ideal way to end a day of travelling.
This was intended to be the 'hors-d'oeuvres' to a holiday with friends a couple of hours away but thanks in no small part to our hosts, Alain and Valerie - who could not have been more attentive, friendly and helpful and made it a genuine pleasure to stay with them - this was very much part of our main course and we ended up sad to drive away having only stayed at Le Miroir Des Etoiles for two nights.
We ourselves hope to return again in the future and in the meantime, we would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone and everyone considering a break near Bergerac!!!

The sumptuous accommodation, superb cuisine and state of the art spa, is surpassed only by the hospitality of Alain & Valerie. They will remain cherished friends forever in our hearts. We visited South-West France for food, wine and rugby but left having experienced so much more. There are not enough stars in the rating system to qualify the fantastic holiday experience we enjoyed.

We stayed here for 3 nights in this beautiful B & B. Valerie & Alain could not have been more hospitable. There are only 2 guest rooms & we were in the 1 that were for couples. The room was well appointed & clean & opened up to a small terrace. Our hosts were full of recommendations & it is only a short drive into Bergerac. Our breakfasts were magnafique. My wife is coeliac & Valerie prepared special gluten free things for her at breakfast. They sat with us at breakfast so we really could get to know each other. The grounds are beautiful with a swimming pool & it set around some beautiful vineyards. It is a place to relax but it also within easy driving distance to many of Dordognes sights. We had a wonderful time here & recommend it highly.

We were two couples travelling through France. This was one of our stays. We pulled up by the property and were greeted warmly by the owner. The accommodation was of five star quality with lovely furnishings, great bed, lovely bathrooms, and as added bonus,s our rooms had patios doors leading onto terraces. The owners house was just across the way and they made a wonderful tasty four course evening meal and made us very welcome and at home as if we were part of the family. Breakfast was all home made and over and above a normal French breakfast. Valerie had made all the food including evening meal. It was a lovely stay and we would definitely recommend this place to stay for several nights as the countryside was wonderful.

This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were welcoming and provided us with some very useful advice about the area, places to visit and eat.
We would definitely go back.

Just two beautifully designed rooms with everything you could want. A refrigerator just outside in the hall is a touch we appreciated. Valerie and Allain were charming hosts and they taken the trouble to speak good English, so that we Brits who only have school French benefit from being able, not only to discuss how life is in France, but to find out about the local area. Allain suggested we visit St Emilion which is 51Km away and a lovely town. Well worth the visit. Chateau Monbazillac is close by. Java Cat lives here. Would we stay at Le Miroir Des Etoiles again, most certainly.

My only problem with writing this review is that it is going to make it even more difficult to stay at this beautiful B&B again! I cannot rate it high enough. The room was spacious and very clean and with an excellent bathroom also. However the three things that make this property unsurpassable are Valerie, Alain and the scrumptious breakfast! The owners are extremely affable and cannot do enough to ensure you have a great stay. The breakfast is not to be missed! We could have sat for another couple of hours until we were ready to eat more of it! We cannot wait until we have the opportunity to call back. Thank you very much for giving us a great start to our vacation in the Dordogne.
