Everything about this accommodation is exceptional. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had the most comfortable and safe experience possible. It is definitely a luxury experience to be surrounded by nature in the Serengeti in a camp that is locally owned and operated. The food is delicious and they accommodated dietary restrictions and allergies as needed, and prepared wonderful lunches for us while on safari. There is a beautiful swimming pool that looks out into nature with comfortable seating and fire pit outside nearby. In the rooms, the beds are enormous and very comfortable. Each room has an indoor shower, outdoor shower, and private outdoor bathtub with beautiful views and privacy. The rooms are also powered with solar energy and backup generators. You will be able to hear the animals nearby from the comfort of your bed. Rest assured, the camp also has security to escort you around after dark, and who patrol the area overnight to ensure safety of the guests. You will feel safely immersed in the park, and you’ll be reminded where you are when you see cheetahs within 10-15 minutes of the camp. We would love to come back anytime, and would encourage anyone else to stay here for the best experience in the Serengeti.

We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights in this magnificent luxury camp built just 1 year ago during our safari with Lion King Adventures. The place was so perfect we wish we could have stayed longer.
First of all, the “tents” are so luxurious and well-equipped, with everything present for maximum comfort. Each room is equipped with an outdoor shower and bath, with a magnificent view of the Serengeti National Park!
We were treated to excellent meals cooked by a friendly on-site chef.
The site is not fenced and is directly in the heart of the national park. So you can observe the animals directly from your terrace, and when the sun comes down, a guard will accompany you to your room. At night, it's possible to hear several animals right from your bed! Finally, the site boasts an incredible swimming pool, again with a breathtaking view of the Serengeti.
We'd like to thank all the staff on site who helped us have a truly perfect stay!

After a busy long day of safari, we have been on narrow winding rutted dirt roads for several hours in the middle of the Serengeti National Park, it was dark, and night had fallen. Pure darkness for as far as you could see, out here that was several miles in every direction. Thru the darkness a few lights appeared, we picked our way around shrubs and a welcoming glow greeted us. We were meet at the door with warm, wet washcloths to wipe our hands. We were seated and a fresh squeezed juice was presented. The facility was explained and a couple of porters took us to our room. A huge room with two queen beds, and a beautifully appointed bathroom with a sink, Shower and toilet in separate rooms. The next morning, from the rear raised patio, I could overlook the savanna and watch the morning sunrise. An outdoor tub, sized for two could also share the expansive view. Two chaise lounge chairs and an outdoor shower completed the total restful package. These are permanent buildings, on solid concrete floors, wood walls and tented roofs.
The second day after another day in the field on safari, we returned and enjoyed the tub and a bottle of wine while watching the day light fade to darkness. Meals were served in the main building, buffet style. Free fast WiFi in the main building, so after a long day of safari , it was nice to sit on the patio, drinking a cold beer from the bar while checking my emails. My only regret not having time to use the pool and the other bar.

If you stay in the Serengeti, make sure to stay in the Nyota Luxury Camp!
Our stay at the camp was beyond anything we could have imagined! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles (+ dances and songs, of course!) and exceptional service that made us feel at home, while also being surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Tanzanian wilderness. The service level at Nyota is truly remarkable. Every staff member, from the porters and receptionists to the waiters, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. The attention to detail was incredible— starting with refreshing welcome drinks and towels after a long and sandy day in the Serengeti, we felt pampered and well taken care of at all times. The food was absolutely fantastic! Both, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious, with a wide range of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes, including us as vegetarians. The waiters, were not only friendly but also highly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Dining under the stars in such a luxurious setting was a highlight of our trip! The camp's pool area is another standout feature. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of safari adventures. With stunning views of the surrounding landscape, a happy hour with free drinks and snacks and a refreshing pool, we wished we had stayed longer to enjoy it even more. The tents were nothing short of luxurious, blending modern comforts with an authentic safari experience. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the animals (bring earplugs if you think you could have issues with that!).
The camp is run by the same owner as Lion King Adventures, a safari tour organizer, which means that not only the guests but also the guides are treated as family here. So, beside the camp being absolutely beautiful, it gives you also the opportunity to have dinner with your guide and have a longer conversation outside of the car -which in most lodges won’t be possible as the guides will have their separate area for the meals.
Special mention goes to the reception team and Laureen the camp manager who is just a beautiful soul. Big hugs also to Richard, Maria, Eli Amani, Arafa and the rest of the team (sorry for not being able to catch everyone’s name)! We can't wait to return one day!!!

What an amazing place—Nyota Luxury Camp in the middle of the Serengeti is everything you would want from a luxury hotel and more than you can imagine for an authentic safari experience. Camp grounds are bucolic—chirping birds and native plantings galore. Hotel tents are spacious and well designed with more than adequate bathroom space, an indoor and outdoor shower l (!) and private toilet. The bed is beyond king sized with netting surrounding it (we never saw a mosquito in the Serengeti or at the lodge but just in case.) There is a pool but we had such full and amazing safari days we did not spend much time there. Food- The food was delicious from the morning buffet to the packed lunch for the safari (tablecloth, hot food, and wine/sodas) to the dinner buffet with homemade rolls, stir fry, bar-b-qued chicken and lamb (chicken was delicious) vegetables, salads, and more. Each evening includes a rousing African chorus line. Fun! Staff- All staff were welcoming, gracious and helpful. Every need was met with haste and grace. If they could do more they would try. We especially loved the Masai tribe members who served as night security for guests walking us to and from our tents. Since this lodge is not fenced you will see (we saw giraffes, DikDik, and Dung beetle) and hear many animals (we heard lions and hyenas) and other sounds of animals we couldn’t recognize.) Despite the occasional night noises we slept like we never do in USA.
Hats off to Lion King Adventures’ Nyota Luxury Lodge. Three nights was still too short a stay for our family.

I can’t say enough about how amazing my stay here was! The hospitality is out of this world! The staff is truly genuine and anticipates your needs before you even ask! The rooms are extremely luxurious and clean! The bed is heavenly and the hot shower is just the right temperature and pressure. Hairdryer, wifi, in room tea and coffee and an indoor and outdoor shower will make you never want to leave! The pool is wonderful! Very clean with a great view of the bush and wildlife! The pool area, bar and reception are so comfortable for lounging! The food is spectacular; truly a gifted chef! A large variety each meal to choose from and the lunchboxes are the best I’ve had. The location of Nyota is exceptional; private and intimate, yet not too far from the main road. Situated perfectly by the river lends itself to some late night hippo wandering by your tent. Needless to say, my 5 days here has been out of this world. I’m sad to leave and I know I will be back! I’ve stayed in many camps in the Serengeti, but Nyota is by far the most exceptional experience I have had. Book your stay today and experience this wonderful place with a first class staff!

The experience at angora was OUTSTANDING. The location is breathtaking. The tents are as luxurious as you can possibly imagine with hot, strong shower indoors and outdoors. You can hear lions roaring and hyenas from a distance and you expect to experience the wilderness of Africa in a more luxurious way than this. The staff is so kind, so polite, nothing is too much trouble. The energy is just contagious. We are already planning to come back with extended family. Thank you, Nyota family!

What a treat to have a herd of elephants wander past our back porch during happy hour. Not to mention the roars of lions and yells of hyenas just outside our tent at night. Nyota Luxury Camp makes the most of its wilderness location in the Serengeti National Park, keeping its guests safe with spear-wielding security escorts (which was most reassuring when we encountered two water buffalo camped in front of our tent after dinner). Our tents were plush and comfortable. The food was very good, especially the chef's barbecue. The staff was unfailingly friendly and attentive.

Spectacular! A feeling of total comfort and luxury in the middle of the Serengeti. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the 4 course dinner was delicious, and the grounds of the camp are well laid out and comfortable. Every party has their own room, with a tented roof excellent viewing and listening to wildlife. However, despite the remote setting, WiFi was seamless, hot water and mosquito cover worked perfectly, and staff were very attentive to security with regard to wildlife at night. Would absolutely recommend!

We had an incredible time at Nyota Luxury Camp with my husband for our honeymoon! The food was great, dinner was 4 amazing courses served family style and served outside overlooking the Serengeti where we could see dik-diks around. There were also buffalos and warthogs spotted during our stay but we never felt in danger as we had escorts. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the bar and pool area was really nice during sunset. The tents were large and pretty clean - this is for sure a glamping experience. We stayed in the Tooth brush room and it was lovely, there was an indoor and outdoor shower as well as an outdoor tub jacuzzi. The staff come during dinner time to do turn down service. Overall an incredible experience and we hope to be back soon!
