This campsite didn't have any tents pitched when we were there. It was filled with caravans and campers. There are dog training facilities across the road, and most people who stayed on the campsite were dog owners who were there for a dog training course. Spent a week here during a training camp for sporting dogs. Service was excellent, however it is quite a long drive from i.e both Oslo and Trondheim, around four hours. However, the nature is astonishing, mountains, forests with nice paths, great lakes and various outdoor activities on offer. Visited Solenstua Camp during summer 2012. We were 5 adults and a youngster for 1 week of fishing. When we arrived we had to change cabin immediately, due to the fact that our cabin was so dirty when we arrived. The receptionist booked us into another cabin, upgrade, which cost us 1800 Nkr more for a week. No serviemind at... More
