For a northern hotel it was unexpectedly a fantastic find. Lots of lights, plug ins for electronic equipment, fast internet and a really nice restaurant next door. Friendliest people i"ve met today. The food was really reasonably priced and very good.

My husband and I stayed here for the night to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed a very welcoming staff and a comfortable room. I was very surprised that our room was equipped with its own small fridge, microwave and even a coffee maker! Our room was on the second floor giving us access to a spectacular view. The hallways and other walking areas were also decorated with beautiful artwork which gave this establishment a very distinct feel.

You are pretty far from anywhere in Eastmain which is why I was shocked at how nice the lodge is. Nice, modern rooms, relatively fast internet, good meeting rooms. The restaurant serves basic, filling fare in a friendly manner.
You don't go expecting a five star but I certainly got more than I hoped for. Good option. No gym.
