Headed to Val-Racine, as a close accomodation to Mont-Mégantic astronomy activities. Easily 1 hour away from Sherbrooke, options are B&B in the village of Notre Dame des Bois, or 1 B&B in the next town past the entrance for Mégantic. This B+B is a wonderful find, for lovers of “peace and quiet”, the décor of yesteryear, a warm welcome, delicious breakfasts (and dinners, on request) and a beautiful setting in an isolated hamlet surrounded by unspoilt nature and rolling hills. If you need some rest from the hustle and the bustle of the city, and all this is electronic (no TV, no WiFi) Auberge Le St-Léon is exactly what you need. Located in a very small village overlooking Mont Mégantic, it is our perfect place to eat and sleep, when we come out for cross-country skiing (Mont-Mégantic and Mont Gosford)...

To my husband and me, this is an excellent B&B: excellent food(delicious, large quantity with nice music and lighting), excellent service, clean room/bathroom. This B&B is so closed to Mont-Megantic National Park which is the main reason we picked this B&B. Everything is so perfect except the heat system is a bit noisy.
