This property is located overlooking Lac Mégantic. We enjoyed walking around the premises many times, both daytime and night-time. Our room was not spacious, no room for my yoga mat, but to be fair there are several common rooms downstairs. Ask for a room with a lake view. The on-suite bathroom had everything we needed. I wouldn't have minded an extra towel each, but maybe I am just being picky. There is no TV in the room and the "total silence" hour starts at 11 am. I appreciated that and had a good night's sleep both nights in the comfortable queen bed. As for the breakfast, it was definitely a high point. Healthy, generous and lots of choices provided. The server was actually perfectly English-speaking to boot! Be prepared to remove your shoes and to put on the slippers provided (or your own). The place was spotless.

Lovely boutique hotel with extras. Access to the lake to swim and to their outdoor spa/jacuzzi. They provide robes in the room to move around the premises. Room itself was perfect for the 2 of us. Wifi included; no tv in the room but one in a common lounge as need be. Breakfast is generous in qty for the single 12$ price and comes with a view. We were offered one free breakfast because we booked directly at the hotel and were shown a few rooms to pick from. I was a little concerned with the negative critiques but our own one-night experience was really nice.

We chose Les Victorines for our first night on a road trip to Halifax. Perhaps this is over-stated, but we felt that if we were going to stop in this part of Quebec, why not give our tourist dollars to a community that has had to rebuild after a tragedy? But our stay was much more than that. Very pleasant room, comfy bed, and an excellent well-priced breakfast. The staff graciously helped us with our fractured French – and their English skills saved the day!.

An incredibly beautiful spot, but be prepared to speak Quebecois. We stayed at peak fall foliage, and the hills and trees provided a stunning backdrop to a lovely lake. This is an ideal spot for a small w/e wedding, maybe a renewal of vows.
