Beautiful terraced pitches on hillside overlooking a beautiful sandy bay only accessible from campsite. Facilities clean but not super modern or luxurious. If you're after a decent but basic site in an amazing location, come here.

You can camp in a terasse, nice view of the sea. There are some hills to camp and one forest. They have restaurant with a perfect view. There prices are a little bit high, but the menu its ok. Baths are ok and clean. The beach its very nice. You can lying on the sand with low tide.

Cliff edge location a comfortable drive from Santander (Vidiago exit from N634 - campsite signposted on roundabout). Entrance to the site is via a steep road - you will need a 4x4 if you have a caravan. If you don't the site staff will take it up for you. The best feature is the sea views, but the best views...

Loved it will definitely be bac. Staff great, loved the open air showers at the top of camp. Restraunt ok but quite highly priced. Llanes is beautiful and we were fortunate to be there during fiesta which was an amazing experience.

Great location, lovely beach, for walkers part of the E9 on your door step. A couple of snags, its on a hillside so going to the loo, shower or washing up can leave you out of breath half way up the camp. The shower/toilet blocks even though clean were of a strange design I myself don't fancy having a shower...

Yes the view is fantastic. Yes you need to be canny about your pitch (we book two). This is not a swanky site and that's why we and the long-timers go back, year after year, after year, after year. Forget the 5* hotels and long-haul flights (we do both). La Paz is the antidote to 21st C living. You make...

Positives - lovely terraced site next to small beach, great views. Nice restaurant and bar. Cheap - 18 euros for van & electric. Negatives - it is a large site so imagine very busy in high season. Showers ok - quite dated and hard to regulate temp. Note - caravans are towed on and off by landrover. Might be hard...

Ok, the most obvious downside is that the site is effectively on a cliff face. It's terraced nicely, but you need to be fit to get to the Amenities. The plus side is that it has the usual facilities; shop, laundrette, shower block etc it also has a restaurant where the food is actually pretty good. Watch out for the...

We stayed at la Paz in August and as other reviews have said the location is great. The beach is wonderful and only crowded high tide and the waves amazing. Lots of the campsite pitches are on terraces with fantastic views. However if you have a larger family tent chances are you will be put in the valley. This is...

We stayed at La Paz in April this year, as the first stop on a 3 month trip around Europe. The site was very quiet at this time, so I imagine quite different from the busy season. The site was big, with good facilities with lots of hot water. The shop wasn't open when we stayed. The bar and restaurant...
