Stayed here with my wife in September 2014 while I was working in Nacala. Took a taxi from Nampula airport to Ilha Da Mozambique and then the Lodge speedboat from Ilha to the lodge (situated on the penninsula). Worth it to spend more time exploring Ilha. The lodge itself is great and we stayed in a sea facing chalet. We...

The lodge is located in a idyllic location, with superb views and close to Mozambique Island, which is great to visit. The rooms are great, well decorated, spacious and with a great view. (Some of them face south and tend to get a little hot because they don’t receive the natural sea breeze that cools you down). The rooms only...

We actually changed our travel plans and came to Mozambique specifically to stay at Coral Lodge when we found it on the web from other travel blogs. Once we got here it was everything we had hoped. It's a 30 minute dhow ride from Mozambique Island (you have to wade in the water to get on and off the dhow,...

My friends Anna, Giovanni and me spent 5 days at the end in August 2016. We had a sort of surprise at the beginning, 3 Hours by car to get there from Nampula, eventually we got there in late alternoon, just in time for the sunset. Filipa was there waiting us, by her kindness we figured out we would have...

The lodge is in an idyllic location and the views are amazing which makes the long journey to get there worth it. Rooms are large with great amenties. The food is outstanding every day, there is no menu, but you can choose 3 course meals for lunch and dinner between the fresh seafood or meat option and they are very...

This lodge just shine in every respect, and the five stars are so well deserved. It's not about blatant luxury, rather it's about tastefulness and attention to detail. Where managers at other lodges are often invisible, here the resident caretakers, Filipa and Ricardo, are checking up on you all the time, while the chef, Zé (I believe) and his staff...

Best accommodation of the trip. Weather was against us first couple of days which made getting there an adventure. 2 hour delay in a bar down the road (drinks bill covered by Lodge) waiting for a particularly high tide to leave the road. Public areas very pleasant with great views of sea/lagoon. Snorkelling excellent and trip to community eye-opening and...

It's the finest 5 star beach resort hospitality you can ever get in Mozambique. The team, service, food, facilities, upkeep, interiors, exteriors, natural surroundings, it's a warm experienced dream package. I would definitely love to come back and stay a different season because they have different natural attractions revolving around the year.

The lodge is very close to perfect. The staff is very attentive, the food was wonderful, the water is unbelievably warm and an incredible colour. I particularly loved the room, the bathroom, the bathrobes and the view.
