We know quite some backpackers and are not fuzzy, but that place we cannot recommend.Dirty kitchen,cutlery,bathrooms and flies are bothering you day and night.For that-the price is way to high! People are friendly but that is not enough.

Fat Pony is a place to enjoy, especially if you love dogs, horses and wine! A safe place to spend time between travels with wifi and hot showers. It is still a farm with many animals, so shoes are recommended when walking around...other than that, enjoy the laid back 'pony district' with a gorgeous view of the stars at night....

Staying in Fat Pony Backpackers is one of my best experience ever.! You dont feel like a traveller anymore but a family member. The host Lorna is a super friendly lady from England with the passion toward to all her horses and pony.They are just adorable and a great fun to ride them around the neighborhood. Alan and Lorna welcome travelers to their home a Backpackers and Riding Centre bordering the Cape Winelands, 40km from Cape Town.
